This was really pleasant (and I DO mean that as a compliment). Great vibe, loved the artwork and the little stories, as well as the "talking" sound effect. Brilliant. I did find that I wanted to get going a little faster in order to keep my interest, especially on the later ones. The disembodied hand... kind of creeped me out. The music didn't really work for me. I was hoping for some cozy Grandma vibes, but it was just low-tension beeps and boops.
Really enjoyed the vibe of this game! I did wish that I could speed up the yarn pulling sometimes though, as I felt like I spent a lot of time waiting (especially if I missed a click and had to wait for another cycle). But then again, patience is is part of the crocheting process, so the deliberate slow-paced nature of it does make sense thematically.

Aw, I just knew there'd be a crochet game somewhere in this jam and I'm so glad I finally found it! The sound design made me think the pings were associated with my stitching for a bit, but then I pieced together it's just the background music, hahaha. I alsoooo tried to drag the yarn to the puzzle cubes instead of the crochet machine at first? So maybe some more precision in that beginning instruction could have helped me. xD
Really chill game, very nice art and overall aesthetics.
That being said, I got a bit annoyed at the constant ping noise, I thought it was pretty random, or at least didn't seem to tie to any specific event in the game. Secondly I thought the controls were a bit too strict on when you can change the settings of the machine. It seems to me it only let you change the settings when you are pulling the yarn down, not when it rolls up, so you have to wait for another loop before you can change it to the correct yarn. I understand it may fit the aesthetics of a chill game, or the realism of a yarn machine (I have no idea how one works), but as a game, it felt frustrating to me.
Edit: To expand on the last part, it felt frustrating to me because in my mind as a player, I assume as long as the next yarn is not being pulled yet, it should have let me change the settings as much as I want.
An absolutely adorable game, I love the art, I love the music, I love love LOVE how the music interacts with how far you are along in the level. The gameplay has some interesting complexity to it as well!
As a fellow crocheter, I can't appreciate you enough for creating this game!! Amazing! Loved the concept. The detailed patterns and mechanics make for a challenging but delightful gameplay and even down to the details of the patterns being inspired by grandma's call it's just top-notch. Beautiful artwork and the music goes so well with everything. Really great game!

Super adorable and cozy game. The different mechanics also make feel like I'm really trying to enter some sort of pattern of creation. Even with that it's lenient and fair to errors. Great work. My only wish is that you could make the crocheting go faster.

This was surprisingly tough to learn but I had a lot of fun trying to remember all of the actions I would have to take. Luckily with reversing stitches, mistakes can be fixed but sometimes it turned into a crazy input combo that I had to make up on the spot. Great job!

I don't think I've encountered a game as wholesome as a grandma crocheting the events in her family's life, big and small. It's so cozy, and even the rhythm is very meditative. I did end up stressing myself out a bit trying to optimize rotation and color order to avoid waiting, but when Grandma said there were only happy accidents, it actually helped me not take things so seriously, haha. I had a lovely time, nice work!
