Very creative idea! I love how the gravity is different on the different planets and how the music gets added to each other when you unlock them. I did feel like the star looking obstacles were kinda hard to judge how close I could get to them before i died. But other than that solid game!

Woah, I loved the soundtrack and the background art looks amazing!
Took me awhile to get used to the controls, but after that I enjoyed what the game had to offer! Congrats on your first game! ^^
I love it! As a Rick and Morty fan, I had to play it to the end. It's great hearing all the intruments come to life when you finish the levels (Outer Wilds style). One sugestion is that, in a game where you die so often, don't put a restart screen, just restart the level pressing one button to keep the flow. Nice game!
Nice this feels really good and polished! And the art is pretty good too. I always like a game where the music is a major part of the gameloop. So nice work!
Also I'd appreciate feedback on my submission if you get a chance!
I liked how you progressively unlock the soundtrack. Thats very cool. I also liked the characters. Also, if this is your first game, really great job and do not let my criticism to deter you :) It is a great feat to finish a game in 4 days and I only wanted to provide some ideas for improvement.
I felt very stupid for a long time becuase the instructions are hidden on a screenshot with very dark font and when the game launches there is no instruction and no sound. I thought the game was bugged. Next time I suggest to put instructions in the main text and even ingame.
I have few suggestions that I think might push the game a bit:
- If you make a rhytm game do not start with dead silence. I know you are unlocking parts of the song by visiting planets, but maybe put in some "space humm" or something. I thought my sound is off or something, had to double check.
- On many planets you die 1 second after spawning. Show where the character is. Maybe even let it follow the path and when the countdown starts let player continue the path. It might be good to indicate which planet is the first one(easiest), so that players are not thrown off by difficulty. Something like "<-- start here"
- there is no rhytm. I would expect there would be some kind of beat you follow when doing laps around the planets.
- it was not clear to me at first if I did the planet correctly or not. The screen looks the same when I die, just the buttons are switched.
This game seems like a Rick and Morty reference. It's a cool concept but a bit unforgiving, still fun nonetheless!
If possible, please consider rating my game.
This is such a cute game! Especially watching the little green character float around. After visiting other planets, I immediately realized this has really challenging controls! Overall it's fun though.
a cool idea! kind of confusing at first, but fun!
If you don't mind, please consider rating my game as well :)
Very nice idea, I'm surprised how much the flappy birds control scheme translates to a rhythm game setting.
Very difficult game, would really love to have a tutorial at the beggining, showing you step by step what to do. Overall a great start!
Your game is tough lol.
Great music and the physics are pretty impressive, as well.
Man this game is very very very hard... maybe even harder than mine! Very funky! One planet didn't really play any song, it was weird. I had to eye-ball it, but managed to get through! The graphics are very uniform and nice. I like the Rick and Morty reference :-) Pickle Rick!!!! The tunes are really catchy and the challenges were quite interesting a bit like flappy bird or Getting Over It. They are hard, but your don't want to give up. I was hoping to see more looping mechanics, apart the music loops and going around the planets that is more an aesthetic choice than a gameplay mechanic.
The way you explore planets and unlock the soundtrack is amazinggg. If you pimp up the ui, during transition from planet to exploring ,it would feel even better. As now it feels you have hit the pause menu.I hope you make a universe out of it and drop an album on spotify!
