I like the idea.  A few suggestions:  It would be good if there was some mechanism to change the values you don't pick in some way.  As it stands, there's not really any reason to avoid bad squares, because you'll have to hit them eventually.  There also doesn't seem to be any limit to how many turns you take or any way to fail.
Also, from a practical standpoint, you should include a web export next time.  You'll get more people to play and rate the game if they don't have to download it.

Really like the concept on this one! Only changing the squares that you use in a loop does feel like it blocks you out of a lot of the board very quickly, but it's an interesting sort of strategy to balance out your bad squares with what could become really good squares.

Love the puzzley concept! I think with some polish this would make for a great mobile game, maybe make it speed focused. As it stands, I was able to click in place and get a score of over 1000 quite quickly lol. I think a larger grid and more concrete rules on how the numbers change could go a long way
