Wow! This game is absolutely amazing. Such a clever puzzle game generally, but also fits the theme spectacularly. I loved it. Great work.

Wow, great work!

Great game, it's a neat concept and the difficulty was well balanced (struggled a bit with the last two levels but they were never frustrating, just tricky). Would be curious to see how you'd expand on the level design and any new mechanics!
My one note would be that the geometric aesthetic of the art doesn't seem super cohesive with the story of a guy trapped in a cursed banjo dimension. Seems like it should a more mystical vibe (maybe something along the lines of the old Doctor Strange comics, or the magical bits of The Princess and the Frog Disney movie, but you could go in a lot of directions with it, so whatever you like). It would help a lot with the immersion.
Had a lot fun tho, great work!

Absolutely amazing idea and execution!

Such a winning concept! I have no idea how you came up with this, nor how you made it, but I'm super impressed.

Well done! You should be proud! :D

Really creative concept! I love the spatial puzzles

I gave level 4 everything I had and still couldn’t beat it. I’m down to my last brain cell writing this. Jokes aside, this is an amazing game. The concept is super charming, and the Banjo detail was such a nice touch.

Thanks for giving it a good effort! My advice is to work backward from the portal, that can usually give you some insight into where you need to go, thanks for playing!

Broke my head a little bit (that's the point of the game xd), but very enjoyable!

Actually funny also. I really like how the banjo sounds.

Really awesome puzzles, I loved bending space and rolling it up like a piece of paper to solve the different levels. Definitely one of the most unique game ideas I have seen this jam. Keep it up!

Developer(+1)

Rolling up a piece of paper is how I came up with the idea! the theme came out while I was at work so I starting messing around with objects around me, like pieces of paper, until I came up with it  ;D

Really enjoyed playing your game. The game is so creative as well as the puzzles. The puzzles are really fun and I will take inspiration of that to think on good puzzle designs!

very good. final level took me some time but was very satisfying once i got it

Love the idea and puzzles!!! hope to see more!

I'm a sucker for a banjo, what can I say. I liked the audio and visuals and the idea itself was very creative, not something I've seen done.

Very creative interpretation of the theme, though it did take me a while to figure out Level 4. One thing I would like would be more camera controls, but other than that, you did a very nice job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I would love some more camera controls as well, it would definitely help make more advanced levels readable. Thanks for playing!

Very impressive take on the theme, to fold (loop) the world onto itself. Very smooth and well polished controls. I had fun just moving around the grid. The movement somehow reminds me of One Step From Eden. The game and level design are great. I really enjoyed listening to the banjo music while planning my steps. The art is simple yet elegant and fits perfectly. Well done!

From opening with a simple but poignant story, to the gentle banjo ambience, to the level-twisting reality-shifting mind-bending puzzles, this game was a banger. Also I absolutely adore the logo! Keep up the amazing work, and keen to see what you do with this idea!

Such a creative concept! One of the most creative I have seen in this jam. Took a long while but I finished the game after all!

Loved how only two mechanics/one main mechanic could have levels so well. Really enjoyed the levels with the holes---adding a whole new layer to the gameplay. The game feels really challenging at times, but I really enjoyed it.

This concept has so much potential overall---I am wondering what other mechanics could be added. Vertical folds, side-switching tiles---and the jam version showed a lot of its upsides! Nothing to complain about.

Great job!
