A damn BEAUTIFUL game! Love the environment. At some point I just roamed around instead of following the payload. Really nice, really well done

What a compliment, much appreciate from the art team. glad you enjoyed!

This is great! Gameplay is fun, artwork is PHENOMENAL, and all of the sounds work really well. I might be biased (composer here), but the SFX completely buried the music the majority of the time. I would would level that out a bit and/or provide an in-game option for folks to adjust it. Throw in some different enemy types and I think you've got a really solid game here!

Thank you for playing! Both SFX and Music turned out great but you are right. We aim to balance this in a polish pass and hopefully like you say give independent control.

On behalf of the art team, thank you for the massive compliment. We are happy you enjoyed!

Bookmark the page, we are would love you to play a future revision!

Gorgeous environments, art direction and sounds. Overall a very beautiful, enjoyable and solid experience!

My feedback for any (future) improvements would be:

  • Add a refresher or a way for players to check controls. I didn't know to repair with 'E' until reading the game page again. A button prompt near the payload would have been great
  • Payload is misspelled as 'Paylod' in the out of range message
  • Would have loved some more variation in enemies. Maybe one more resistant against bullets, forcing you to use the fire spin?
  • Some music (techno / dub / sci-fi) in-game would be great

But really, enjoyable and beautiful game, congratulations!

Hey!  Glad you enjoyed the game, especially the art direction.

There is a soundtrack but the audio may not be balanced so your volume may need to be higher to experience the soundtrack.
Here's a link to some of the tracks!

I think a handful of us would like to polish the experience so hopefully some of the issue will be ironed out and more. So keep an eye out!

Thank you for playing!

Thank you for your comment :)

As my teammate suggested there was indeed music but it was probably too quiet in the final mix so it got buried by the SFX. We did some last minute Audio crunch to implement it and that is one of the things that went wrong. Definitely one of the first things we plan to fix with the polish. Glad you enjoyed the art, we are so proud of our art team!

The environments in this are beautiful! Kudos to the art direction and level design. It was easy to get the hang of, and it felt really satisfying running ahead and dispatching enemies. One thing to consider if you decide to make a post-jam version would be adding a shorter tutorial level at the beginning, since I managed to escort the payload to the end but it still said I failed, and it wasn’t exactly clear why.

Great job to you all! This was really fun!

That's cause no matter how hard you try you are doomed to repeat the loop forever, and also why you can't pause the game, as long as the program is open you can't escape the loop! (jk, but thank you so much for playing! We will absolutely look into that once we can edit the submission, thank you for your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed it!)
