How does your game fit the theme?
Threadspace is a level-based precision navigation game for PC with an unconventional take on the theme Loop. It is inspired by fruit loops! (and other loopy foods like penne, macaroni, and Life Savers) and the looping motion of a knitting needle threading yarn. As a love-struck alien piloting a yarn-trailing knitting needle spaceship, your mission is to weave through these floating objects without crashing. The core gameplay revolves around precision, spatial planning, and satisfying spiral maneuvers. Complete the course, and you’ll craft a "spacy" pasta necklace to gift your alien sweetheart for Valentine's Day. A loop of love — in every sense.

Your average rank is #48 in GMTK 2025! Congrats!

I felt bad that there is no average score, because some teams aimed for all categories, not just one. So I just scrapped the results page and made a table. I agree with "Mark" that "Overall" is questionable, but I still think "Average" is a valuable score, so I decided to share it.

This is the best game I have played so far in the jam. The art is SO CUTE! There is a plot, too! I love everything about this. I had trouble connecting the yarn at the end, but I think that is more player error than a problem with the game. I would suggest having more instructions float on the screen if a player takes too long to complete the first level.

So glad my alien significant other liked the necklaces I made for them! Very nice gameplay loop, art and music. My only critique is that I think the camera should be pulled back a bit for player clarity. Although I do understand the camera being where it is for the sense of scale when flying around giant macaroni. Great job!

Nice art style and take on the theme. Simple game mechanics but well executed, nice job! :)

such a creative and romantic idea to make the necklace. I love how all the elements combined together, especially the storytelling with art. Very smooth game experience!

Cool concept for a game! I like the story and the art style! Though, it is difficult to know where to enter the donuts.

If possible, please consider rating my game too.

This was so fun, I loved the challenging physics especially those rounded macaroni. The artwork is so aesthetic and cozy, and the initial narrative was a nice touch too!

The spaceship control is pretty intuitive. I like that, especially when you press the A and D keys, you can see the fire jets highlight. The music also works very well with the stylish artwork.

Cozy racing! Very cute and chill! Racing mechanics, without a pressure to race fast, and unleashing a little bit of creativity in not trying to do it the optimal way.

Very cute, I enjoyed it a lot.

Love the concept, art and music. But the control feels a bit stiff.
