looked great. nice version of the looping character mechanic. i think it was buggy for me though, as after a few rooms I couldn't seem to progress, and buttons/switches weren't working and rats were disappearing.

Thanks a lot!! I believe you are referring to the level with a purple block. The purple block " resets " the rats in the level and every switch, door, leaver,... It's part of the level design :). I'd added more effects and particles to make that clear if I had more time hahaha
I got stuck there too. I think part of the problem is you can't see what it's doing as it's doing it, because the other buttons are off-screen by that point.
First of all I love the tutorial, very clearly communicating without using any words!
I had that aha moment when the first rat died on the button and then the door was open :) Also idk how you made the graphics but I really like the trippy visuals. Feels very polished overall great work!

A little morbid how many rats' lives it takes for a single cheese, but alas, such is life. Also I pressed the button in the last stage a bunch of times and got many cheeses to spawn!!! Nice game
