How does your game fit the theme?
We integrated the theme in our game mechanic, through rope movement. Visually, looping tapes introduce each level. Looking at all these taped memories, the environment is different, and yet the action is the same. Thus, the loop becomes a representation of a passive life, mindlessly following a system, giving in to the loop, contributing to a cycle of power dynamics.

cool game! The mechanics are fairly simple, letting the player focus on the vibe instead. I liked the dual representation of the theme as a ''rope loop'' but also a painful ''cycle of life''. The music fit the atmosphere very well and the art is amazing and drives the point home. Loved this short experience, good work !

Way to convey a narrative through mechanics. Well done! Hooked me with the art style and kept me with the spooky atmosphere later. The last level is harrowing. I wish you'd have made it a little clearer that the ending of level 3 was actually the intended ending of the game and not just a game over screen with no checkpoint. A simple "The End" on the screen with the replay button would've done it. Like this, I kinda felt like it just ended because I personally didn't play well enough.

On level 1 I was a bit confused but startwing with level 2 I understood the title meaning and why you chose this visual language. I love this aestetics!

Hello there fellow spooky collage game maker.

While the rope mechanics are a fairly common take on the "loop" theme, the game makes up in atmosphere and narrative. Neat job, one of my favorites so far.

Like that the "lack" and strange artwork is an artwork on its own. Despite the obscureness, this game is well made. Wow!

??????? I feel like I need several layers of context to understand this game. Why does it become a horror game after level 1?  Level 3 is way too hard. I failed two attempts at it and I no longer have the will to herd sheep. I will never know if there are any more levels. The absurdity of the game is quite funny so I could call my experience "enjoyable" but I don't want to hear the loud breathing sounds for a third time. 5/5

fair questions! but don't worry, you did actually complete level 3 :) ending with the player switching from herder to 'herdee'. our intention was to switch from a cute atmosphere to a horror one, painting herding as a metaphor for never ending cycles, with the player ending up on the receiving end. hope that helps u see some more layers to our concept! thanks a lot for the feedback <3
