How does your game fit the theme?
Palindromes are words which read the same forwards as they do backwards. This means that they may be strung together infinitely in a loop and be read in any direction from any point. They are the word equivalent of loops.

fun!! it's really easy to understand and the ui works perfectly! it could be nice to have a hint system, since on one i got stuck. great job!
Absolutely! I intend to add all sorts of features in the full release, including a hints system. Glad you had fun playing :)
A very simple and well-developed idea. I would improve the feedback and add some graphic effects (a bit like in Mark's wordplay).
You're absolutely right! In the full release I will make sure to add those juicy feedback sounds and particle effects that we have come to expect in games of this genre.
poop, I wish there were more palindromes, if you were to add anything, I think it'd be cool to have multi word, maybe like time attack make the most palindromes out of a bag of letters and each letter has some point value, maybe simplify placing by having it mirrored since you only need to place one for it to be a palindrome instead of placing two. Good game (:
Some really cool ideas, thank you for the feedback! I definitely hand 'multiple words' in mind for the full release but I hadn't thought of time trials.
And yes, you're right! There's only really the need for half of the letters and a mirror in the middle, which is something that I will be doing when I make the full version.
Nicely done! Few shortcomings are that it's literally too short. I was left wanting more. Also, keyboard support. A word game of this sort seems to imply keyboard typing should work.
Otherwise, it's pretty fun!
Keyboard controls were on the agenda, but unfortunately I ran out of time in the jam. This will definitely make it into the full release though, along with plenty more levels.
Glad you enjoyed it though and were left wanting more, that's always a cool compliment to receive as a game developer :)
Clever idea! , but when I drag a letter and right click it glitches the game, other than that it is fun!
Thank you for altering me about this bug. I'll make sure that it's fixed for the full release.
Pleased that you liked the idea!
Pretty neat word game!
My main criticism is that dragging and dropping can get kinda tedious after a while; there should've been a system where if you simply click a tile it pops into the first open space
There actually is! Although I don't think I made it obvious enough. You can click a tile and then select an empty tile or another tile to swap them (no need for dragging).
found it pretty fun but i feel like this should have counted lol
You're absolutely right. Unfortunately this one went under my nose during development however I will make sure the full game is playtested by me and my friends before release.
If you're interested in playtesting, let me know and I can make a Discord server for the development of the full release.
Great game! I really appreciated the different options for moving the letters around on the board, very intuitive
Thank you! I'm really glad you appreciated the additional controls.
Neat game! I wish there was some kind of audio feedback when you put in a wrong answer or put a letter in one of the boxes, but pretty fun idea :)
I agree, it could really do with that. I've been thinking about how I am going to improve the game for the final release and I have lots of ideas regarding this. My main idea is a "submit" button which will make a sound and make the screen go green or red depending on a right answer.
This is neat! Even if I couldn't figure out the intended answer for one of the levels, although stats is a palindrome, so I wasn't wrong. It's alright though, it was still fun!
Glad you enjoyed! And yeaaah, sorry about that. I've had a few people mention that one. I will be fixing that in the future, so stay tuned for more levels. :)
Yay!
cool word puzzle game! pretty unique take on the theme!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and found the take interesting.
Nice word puzzle. I also found an answer that wasnt accepted, but a cool idea to meet the theme!
I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thank you so much for playing and rating!
My apologies on that one. I tried my best to ensure that each level only had one solution, although my friend also brought the alternate solution to my attention during his playthrough.
Hope it wasn't too dissapointing.
I just loved this! Really creative take on the theme, and a really crisp and cohesive execution. Awesome music and the aesthetic really felt like it all belonged together. I lost track of time!
Aside from one puzzle which had a possible solution that wasn't the right one, all of them felt appropriately challenging and satisfying to solve!
Yes thank you for bringing that particular puzzle to my attention. I will be redesigning the game slightly after the jam has ended, so stay tuned for more levels and the ability for multiple answers to be correct on one level.
I'm really glad you enjoyed my submission and I really appreciate the feedback! :)
Tenet!
Great game! Crisp and clear design makes everything easy to see. The difficulty increases as you move through the levels, so gameplay stays nice and challenging! The controls are straightforward to use and you can easily place letters wherever you want them to go.
Thank you for the positive feedback! I'm really pleased that you enjoyed the game and found it challenging enough.
