Good mood muisic on this one. Does the sun ever come back up to recharge the solar panels? Good work.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah the sun lighting-charging dynamic is not implemented, but to get more power you need to to get the dust-devils to clean the dust off your solar arrays.

I had a lot of fun figuring out how the contols works and how to scan for minerals, though I couldn’t figure out how to not run out of battery which limited me a lot Cuz of this i also couldn’t find anything :(

Though, really impresive game you made!

Developer

Thanks!
You need to get to a dust-devil before your battery runs out, they will clean the dust off your solar arrays and allow your full power to move around!

I loved rallying on Mars

Thanks!

I found some difficulty to move, haha. But the graphics and the idea is very nice =)

Developer(+1)

Yeah thanks!  wanted to make it that just moving around was not straight forward (not a normal car game), but I think I can do some tweaking on that!

The game looks amazing and polished! Really like physics! The core mechanic of steering is interesting and challenging!

There should be some kind of small torturial is really hard to understand what I should do and how to operate, with this small section the game could be so great

Developer

Agree! I will aim to do a basic tutorial and update after the jam is finished

I think the overall feel of this game is super polished. The UI, art and audio really came together very well and I think your UI in particular is brilliant. The mini-map was a good choice and implemented really well. Like others have echoed, the only thing really I had trouble with was figuring out the controls. The camera felt a little off as well. Honestly though, a really impressive game to be made in such a short space of time. Fantastic job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

I should have made the control mapping a bit more obvious and a tutorial would be a big thing I reckon

really cool concept, the game itself is too hard for me :)

Developer

Thanks! I think a tutorial level at the start is definitely needed!

The music and the rover sounds are perfect. I liked driving around too, but it seemed like the buttons didn't work. I was pushing R & F like the guide said but nothing happened.

Developer

Thanks!

Yeah the area for actions are very small, to use the grab function [R] the yellow ball at the end of the arm needs to be very close to the sensor.

And the F key is a bit weird as well:
-to activate the sensor, just the rover needs to be close to it (no need for managing the arm)
-to mine rocks, the end of the arm needs to be in range of rocks

I'm thinking on changing the controls to something more logic a bit
