Finally figured out the controls XD, I really loved the way of movement, it was very unique! Although I didn't finish it since I didn't really understand what I had to do. Also I'd love to see music added to the game, I think It'd add allot of life.

Great visuals! It's really clickable.

Thank you a lot!

You need to reach the top of the level to win^^Most enemy attacks need to get dodged by letting the bucket intentionally fall down, or cranking it down (the first one is easier, but costs stamina)

I am looking for some sounds, thank you!

I think I had a little more success than the other commentors... I managed to reliably get to the first gnome, and once I even made it to the dragon. But the fact that they aim their projectiles at you is evil 😭 Conceptually, I like the idea of pressing keys in a clockwise motion to "crank," but in practice it is a bit of a struggle. I'm kinda hooked though, so I'll try a few more times to see if I can get past the dragon haha.

Ooh yay, I won! So it is possible haha. I missed the part where if you do it in reverse, you go back down haha. Honestly, it's a good challenge if you can persevere! And like the others said, the art is really cute. I love the depressed businessfairy

Thank you a lot for preserving through haha. I fell into the trap of balancing the game based on my own experienced, instead of someone new to the game. I made a few tiny changes to the enemies and added a proper end to the level now, hopefully it is more fair now

The game art is really cute and charming, but I couldn't really figure out the controls, I managed to move it up a bit. I think it's intentional for it to be this hard but I kind of almost threw my keyboard on the wall trying to move it up lol.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I will take a look at the controls and try to make it easier to figure out, thanks!

You have to keep 1 key pressed to not let it fall down, so it is necessary to first press the new key and then release the old one. But after testing it for a week I think I lost touch to how someome new would play the game

Thank's for playing and your feedback!

The bucket falls down if no key is pressed, I assume that is the issue you ran into. You can keep the previous key pressed when pressing the next one to avoid this. The idea was that you can crank it up, but sometimes have to crank it down or let it fall down intentionally (by releasing all keys) to evade the enemies. Basically simulating turning a handle and letting it go to let the bucket fall down. But I should have made a tutorial to get this better across and balanced the difficulty better

Thanks for your feedback!

Very nice art!! the game is really cute, altough i got a bit frustrated by the controls

Developer

Thank you for your feedback!

I finetuned the controls a bit and made the enemies and water a bit more forgiving. I also added the option to show the next needed input by pressing T. I hope this makes it less frustrating
