Description
For the theme I decided to highlight the nature of the desert. Specifically, a lizard's great escape from a hawk. The lack of cover won't stop him from escaping! I will probably be working on a version I am a little more satisified with too so any criticism is appreciated

i always always love when someone mixes realistic instrument sounds with obviously electronic elements so this is so crazy, i love the buried super fast tappy drums & the layered synths, v v cool track
Thank you a ton! Realistic elements mixed with electronic has been one of my favorite things to do recently, so I am glad you liked that! Thank you for the kind words!
Very nice song! I love the little story in the description. Given the quick nature of this song, I could totally imagine a lizard being chased by a hawk. You got a lot of variation in this song too, which is not easy to do and is definitely appreciated (and reflected in a higher 'Creativity' score too ;). Your instruments (sitar, bongo, that one oboe- or trumpet-like instrument at 0:24 I cannot put my fingers on - please help me find the name!) all fit very nicely. I love the risers seemingly turning into wind at the start, the beautiful little reverse at 2:24, the very fitting chord progressions, and the upbeat and fast nature of the percussion and bass. Genuinely, a very entertaining song to listen to! Well done :D
Thank you! The feeling of the story was the most important part for me so I am glad you felt I captured it! I am glad you liked the variation too, I feel it sort of came from a shifting of musical ideas haha; I was originally inspired by "Attack on Vah Naboris" from Zelda (I started with the piano chorus area when composing) and then the rest of the ideas sort of shifted to Mexican-Folk and Chiptune inspired (and probably some other genres). That instrument at 0:24 is a trumpet soundfont, I think it might be based on a C trumpet though! Your comment is very kind, Thank you again!
What an interesting track, loved it! Really enjoyed the latin jazz kind of sound, some really nice note choices and phrases in places that kept me on my toes. The switch ups kept me intrigued about where it would go next and definitely fits your idea of a cat and mouse game between the hawk and lizard 😄 Great retro aesthetic as well and I really appreciated those legato pitch slides. One of my favourite entries, well done 👌
Thank you so much! You articulated the feeling I wanted to capture in others with this track exactly, so that makes me very glad! I am also glad you enjoyed the pitch slides too; It was one of my favorite things to implement into the track!
I like this one. Nice job!
Thank you, I am very glad you liked it!

Thank you!
