Use of the limitation
You play as an oak leaf that falls endlessly, and you have to dodge the branches.

Sweet game and nice art style. Couldn't get too far though because of branch gaps and hitboxes. But I noticed that you are generating random length for the branches on each retry, that's an awesome idea!
Also, the transition on retry is too quick and the leaf is immediately above the branch giving less time for the player to react.

Overall it's a nice game. Good job!

Cute style and concept, but the hitboxes were incredibly frustrating. Maybe make the gap between the branches bigger, but add some sideways floating movement to the leaf, or some wind to slowly increase the difficulty.

Cute game. You could consider making the leaf fall faster over time to ramp up the challenge. Good work on the submission!

Loved the idea! Being a leaf is a clever way of interpreting the theme!

I love the concept behind your game, and it's got what presents to be a very simple gameplay loop. I love your art style, and I really love the music in the background. You have very good visual and auditory presentation. Unfortunately, I couldn't get very far in it. The leaf and the branch hitboxes don't seem congruent with the art (which, given the time frame is entirely understandable), and a little bit of tweaking might make things a bit smoother (not sure if that's the term I'm really going for, but in lieu of anything better).

Still, very much enjoyed the presentation and the implementation of the limitation was done well!

Okay, this one was very simple. I think my favorite and least favorite part are the same thing, which is... your shape language! The leaf and spikes were both interesting shapes, organic.. sharp.. spindly. It was really frustrating sometimes when the edge of a spike hit the edge of a leaf so slightly, but again, I suppose those particular shapes are what made this game interesting, and not as generic as it could have been. Also nice little ost.  I like the specificity of it being an "oak" leaf and not just a leaf.

Yeah t add to it, maybe if the leaf gets clipped it tilts or something, right now the leaf feels like a stone leaf haha. and obviously more variety etc. etc. but fr the jam, yeah its a descending thing ha.

Being a leaf and slowly falling is a pretty nice concept for this style of game. Leaning more into leaf behavior could be neat for ramping up difficulty.
