Hey...great game. Really nails the bullet-heaven feel.
Firstly, I'd like to mention I really love the variety with the ships, weapons and their upgrades.
And it's really satisfying to destroy the enemy ship clusters.

Now for the "tough love".

1) Even though it's fun to take down the enemies, I felt that it's too easy to go past the enemies, which will then cluster together and keep chasing you from behind. So I just need to move in one direction (slightly move to dodge the enemies in front) and keep shooting in the opposite direction. Then I'll just turn around, dodge a few and then collect all the hundreds of drops from the ones I took down. I can just follow this strategy for longer runs. Eventually I die because I get bored of it and try to jump into a cluster and then get surrounded by enemies. It would balance the challenge if maybe the enemies don't cluster right behind the player's ship when chasing and maybe even try dodging bullets sometimes.

2) When getting upgrades and new weapon choices, IMO instead of either giving only upgrade options or only new weapon options, maybe it'd be better if there are a mix of both, like for example 2 out 5 are new weapon option and rest are upgrades for existing ones. Also, this might just be a me problem, but there is too much text for the upgrade and new weapon stats, and even with the green highlight its hard to figure out what's a good choice. Simple icons would maybe be easier to understand and read. You can still have a tooltip on hover on the stats (or tap and hold if you plan to add touch controls later) for showing text details.

3) Lastly, the game got stuck mid-run for me. Both on the web version and on the PC version. PC version I was able to play and die in 2 runs and it got stuck on the 3rd run. But on web it happened every run.

Overall it's a fun and challenging game, and the content is really cool. With some balancing and polish, it'd be really awesome.

Hey...it's done. Updated the game with new copyright-free music. Added all the certificates as downloadable too.
Hopefully no more YT copyright claim issues. Thanks.

Updated game : New graphics, UI/UX and music

Sorry you got the copyright claim but I think yt ai flagged it. Because the soundtrack is COPYRIGHT-FREE content I got from Pixabay.
I have the certificate for it too. I'll add it as downloadable on the game's itch page. You can use it to remove the copyright claim.
Here's a link for the soundtracks so you can check it :

Thanks for playing. Glad you found it fun and liked the design. I really enjoyed watching your stream.
The version you tried was actually a rush job where I slapped some effects last minute. The current updated version was what I planned to submit but couldn't because of some game breaking issues. Now I fixed that and improved the visuals so it's not as much straining on the eyes.
Hope you get a chance to try out the latest version and share your feedback, even if you don't stream it again.

Thanks for playing the game and for the feedback. Appreciate it :)
The initial gun (or the gun when there are no gun drops available in the arena) spawn nearby the center. I couldn't fix a specific a place for the gun spawn because the whole arena is destructible, but I'll try to make the gun spawn more prominent (maybe a drone fly by that drops a loot box or something). However, an indicator will appear on the screen pointing towards the nearest gun when you're empty handed.

I have uploaded an updated version of the game, with (I think) better graphics, UI/UX and hitbox and hurtbox issue resolved, so I hope you will get a chance to give it another try and share your feedback. Thanks.

Feedback so honest you had to say it twice! But thanks for giving it to me straight...truly appreciate it. And thanks for trying out the game.
Glad you liked the music, I love that soundtrack with this gameplay. And to be honest, the effects were a rush job, but I'm happy it gave the chaotic vibe.
About the gameplay, the battles are supposed to give you that tense feel like you're on the edge and excite feel when you take down a cluster, but if it's just leaning towards the tense side then I will look into it and make the necessary tweaks.  The lag spike was probably because of a shader OOM issue which I fixed, but it may also be due to the camera shake on play zone shrink so I don't know if it's fixed.
I have uploaded an updated version, it's got updated UI, UX, post processing effects and I think I fixed the hitbox and hurtbox issues (my bad, i forgot to change the trigger collider sizes when I updated body child objects of the enemy and bullets), so I hope it'll give a better experience now.
Please check out the updated version if you get a chance and share your feedback.
(FYI, Fullscreen web version has framerate issues probably, so if you do give it another go try the web version without fullscreen or the pc version)

Cool game. Love the vibe and aesthetics. It's a cool concept and I think you can do way more with the idea and the core mechanic.

8$ for Hot Water...now that's where all the profit is coming from! :D
Very cozy, relaxing and fun game. Love how there's no rush and even if I serve the customer an empty cup, the just won't pay and leave...keeps me relaxed and play at my own pace. And I really liked how you made the UI diegetic and the laptop controls it all, cool idea.
It'd be cool if there was some sink for the money like restocking supplies or paying bill/taxes etc.
Overall it's a fun and relaxing game...and with some content and progression features it has the potential of being a full game.

Very cool split mechanic and nicely designed levels around that mechanic. I really liked how I had to figure out when to split and when to rejoin based on the level design. Although it would've been cool if I could choose whether to rejoin with the back-half or the front-half, that would open up so many more level design and traversal options. I really like the art style and Millie fits perfectly in that vibe, but I wish there was more sound fx for jump, split, rejoin, etc.
Awesome job...keep it up!

I'm sorry...I guess it's a Me issue, but I couldn't even get through the tutorial part, wall jumping across that extended ledge was hard. But I did see your gameplay on cinna's stream and it was fire! Everything was so polished and felt awesome. So I'm going to rate it based on the stream.
Awesome game...keep it up!

Cool idea and I like the neon city look, but I wish there was more than chase rat and collect items placed in the path. It would've been better if you had made it into a stealth search game where the items are hidden across the city and player has to look for them without getting caught by the air or ground patrol.
I love the UI and aesthetics though, matches the game theme. Awesome work on that front.
Good job though...keep it up!

Nice puzzle game and a fun story too. I like the idea but I wish the puzzle mechanics were more dynamic, other than just teleport and block. Just a suggestion off the top of my head, in the levels that show Millie, maybe you add cat food and the roach will push it in place so that Millie runs straight towards it and removes all the barricades in the way. But I really like how you introduced a mechanics and gave an easy level understand it, that the proper strategy for puzzle games.
The Rat King jumpscares were perfect though! :O
Great work.

Epic fights and drama. This game was an amazing experience. I totally got JJK flashbacks during the fights. Too much fun. Cool game.

Wow...that was a lot of moooo-ving. And that was an insane amount of Millie.
It was fun but kinda gets repetitive after a point and even the cows stop appearing too often so instead of running away, it becomes more of a hassle to find the cows. There were a bunch of bugs too like I couldn't move in a certain direction, had to dash and shoot and what not to fix it during gameplay.
Overall it's a good game...but could use some work, polish and variations to be even better.

Really cool and well polished game. Love the splatter effect and how the game name gets revealed in the background. And how you made slicing instead of clicking on buttons to make them work was a nice touch. Awesome effects too for the cutting too, but I wish there was more impact on graphics and score for Combo hits.
Great game. Kudos!

Nice and cute adventure. Really like the art style and the cute little animations. Had a lot of fun battling the mushies. But hard to tell when they attack, I just had to keep an eye out for my health bar. And it was scary walking through the dark forest, nice touch for the final mile. The ending was superb and perfect. Thanks for making such a beautiful game.

This game is so entertaining and the amount of content and polish you've added is awesome. The art style and music was cool too. I'll be honest with you though, there are things I absolutely enjoyed and there are things I felt needed some more work.
First of all what I liked, the sheer amount of cat troops there are and how each of them has a different profile and dynamic stats/abilities (not just the basic attack or speed stats). Also, I liked how in the Upgrade screen the troops in my team are marked so I don't needlessly upgrade a troop not in my team.
Now for the things I think can be improved. The tutorial part wasn't letting me defeat the first enemy tower till I looked through all the tutorial messages in that level, so I spent almost 5-10 mins just in that 1st level not understanding what to do till I actually went through the messages. Next, I didn't like that I had to go all the way back to the Chapter screen to roll and unlock a troop, it should be a button available in other screens too. Then, I'd prefer seeing the stats of the troops in a tooltip or something in the Setup Team screen instead of going to the Upgrade screen just to check their stats and decide which troop to add. Then, in the battles, I just blindly spam tapped on each troop in the team to spawn them without understanding which is better against which enemy troop. Also, the spam tapping is okay in the easier levels, but my fingers started paining in the harder levels so I just let go when it did and lost. It'd be nice if there was some currency like energy or coins to spawn the troops instead of allowing them to be free spawns, maybe the currency can be earned from taking down the enemies and completing levels, and it carries over from level to level.  And finally, I didn't understand charms was or how to get them, I guess I didn't play long enough for the feature to be available.

Ok, that went long, sorry but I know you've been working hard on this game and it has potential, hence the lengthy critique. Overall it's a fun and engaging game and with some more work it'll be even better. Looking forward to what this game turns out to be in the future. Cheers!

I wanted to try out your game since I saw the drink throwing feature. But I was amazed by the sheer amount of content. I could honestly get lost in playing this for hours. And its got such a chill vibe.
Awesome game...thank you for making this.

So beautiful and cozy. Love the art style and music. The balance control part is a bit tricky but mostly got the hang of it after a bit. It would be cool to see some platformer like levels, just journeying and maybe solving puzzles or roadblocks, no action needed.
Great submission.

Very cute and cozy. Taking care of Millie was fun and the little animations were so adorable. Love how you have to keep on engaging with the elements. Wish there was more content so I could play more. The bars were a bit confusing though. Didn't get if they were filling up or going down and which was actually better.
Very nice submission.

Very cool art style. And the interactions are very funny. The map design is awesome...I can see myself getting lost here in search of hidden treasures.
I only wish the enemies had some buffer time before triggering their first attack instead of attacking immediately when I'm in they're range...sometimes even from outside camera view.
Overall it's a fun game. Had a lot of fun playing it.

Hehe...I knew campers will have a blast with that.
Not anymore though...fixed that and added power ups too. Hope you try out the new version.
Thanks a lot for playing.

Awesome game...Love the graphics and the game feel. I really like how the countdown also dictates which move will be used...gives depth to the countdown. I wish the warrior and healer had more moves but overall it's a fantastic game with a very appealing presentation.

Interesting idea...I see a lot of potential.
However, it was hard to figure out things without a tutorial and UI feedback. The battle part was confusing, didn't get what stats affected the battle logic and how to upgrade those stats.
Keep it up...would love to see a polished version of this game.

Amazing puzzle game. The level design is awesome and the puzzle mechanics are really challenging. Loved the way how you eased in the player with simple levels to understand the mechanics and then gave a harder level with those mechanics.
Great job!

Thanks a lot. I spent most of the time working on the UI feel so I'm happy you liked it.
Yeah the tutorial is lacking a lot...will add a better version of it when I improve the game after the jam.
Thanks for playing.

Glad you liked the idea. I will improve it after the jam.
Thanks a lot for playing.

Thanks a lot for playing.

Thanks a lot. Glad you liked the narrative design.
Yeah the idea behind the deckbuilder mechanics was to make it easy enough for non deckbuilder players to understand since the overall genre is different from normal deckbuilder games. And yes, I need to add better tutorials, for the movement as well as the performing tasks loop...just didn't get enough time to add it for the submission.
The minigame sounds great...I'll plan it out and try to add it in the next iteration.
Thanks for playing and for your valuable feedback.

Very interesting and cool game. I really like the art style, it was clear and little animations were fun.  Evacuating the workers was the real challenge because they were so many and so small, but it was a fun challenge. Would've been nice if there was more feedback when a preparation was complete but it still had enough for a jam game. Some audio would be great.
Great work...keep it up!

Oh ok...that was the queue progress. Thought it was some sort of timer before tickets close. Cool got it.

Really interesting puzzle platformer. Gave me Braid vibes. I really like how the level restart timer was also an element in the level that can be sped up or slowed down. I liked the art style and music too. Maybe you can add more time altering bullets later, like a bullet that reverses the objects time or a bullet that switches the countdown to two objects.
Overall it's an exciting game...great job.

Damn that security was persistent. But throwing stuff at him was fun. Very quirky and entertaining. I had a problem though...I pressed some button and the phone came out and then game got stuck after pressed some button on it.
Really enjoyed playing and could totally see some potential for co-op.
Great game. Keep it up!

Cool idea. The text was very hard to read though and the tutorial didn't really explain much.
Good work...hope to see a polished version someday.

Thanks a lot...really happy you liked the idea. I like the progression mechanics for roguelike and roguelite games so I wanted to try it out with different genres for a long time. Will surely improve the game after the jam. Hope you get a chance to check it out then.
Thanks for playing.

Really cool game...felt a bit like Papers Please! I had a hard time getting those tickets. Especially because of the Captcha Submit task. The submit button wasn't working so I had to press enter to submit, but then the timer moved forward on every submit which made it very challenging.
Overall it's a really entertaining game and has potential to grow.

Oh cool...I actually did count the plucks,  but I didn't know how many feathers I got per pluck so that's why I didn't know what my progress was.

Glad you liked the idea. Yeah the 3 npcs are all there is and rest is empty. You do get rewards, you  do the card thing to reduce effort and accept task, then interact with the task object and then talk to the NPC again. I need to make that more clear to the player. I'll be adding more content and polishing the game soon after the jam. Will let you know once done.
Thanks for playing. Appreciate the feedback.

Very fun and quirky. Really like how player has to move the mouse to pluck, gives a nice game feel. Music, sfx and art style were also really cool.
It'll be nice to see how many feathers collected along with the target, though. I thought it was endless at first.
Great game...it was really entertaining.
