I really loved the art in this one. It had strong storybook vibes. Plus, hedgehogs are my favorite! I made it to grandma's with a full basket and about 2.5 mins left. Nice entry!

I'm a huge fan of the art style! It has an American folk art vibe that feels perfect given the fairy tale being referenced.

Usually games like these give me anxiety, but yours has a surprisingly cozy atmosphere. It's still tense, but not stress-inducing, which makes it way more fun to play imo :)

Oh wow, thank you! This means a lot to me :) I spent most of my time for this jam drawing the assets so hearing it wasn't in vain makes me very happy.

Nice art, but I think it needs to be more "challenging" I just run straight to the end and enemies didn't even touched me

Thank you for playing and yes, the critters didn't turn out quite the way I had planned, because I put too much time on drawing and trying out animating.

I really appreciated the art it was all charming. I did see a squirrel or some animal achieve Mach 3 speeds when flying across my screen, but I did have some fun. Wish there was more to do though, but still found it a nice game.

Thank you so much for playing! Already aware of the flying critters syndrome :D I actually had lots of ideas to add to the game, but spent way too much time drawing all the art :D

The Grimm's fairy tale illustrations are very pretty! 🧡

Nice music, love the art, and easy to learn. Idk how, but I accidentally flung a hedgehog off the screen lmao. I felt bad for laughing, but it was so random ⅽ(ᗒ ᗜᗕ)ↄ Good job!

Thank you for playing and glad you had fun with the flying hedgehogs bug (need to fix it when the jam ends) :D

Relaxing game with cozy graphics. At first I didn’t understand that you were suppose to head to your grandmother’s house and spent most of the time feeding the little guys making friends xD. The stick breaking noise startled me at first because I mistook it with the sound of bones breaking (That’s on me for having watched Fear and Hunger xD). I though the animals where eating me (ó﹏ò。).

:D:D thank you so much!

Very moody and cute game with really lovely graphics. I’m not sure what the danger or threat in the game was; I gathered a following of 64 critters and not much else happened and I didn’t feel punished for it.

The throwing of the apple mechanic was cute, I just wished I had more reason to use it.

Good job on the game!

Thank you so much for playing! I was trying out an idea for pacifist twist on survivor games, but the critter swarms didn't turn out as annoying as I hoped - they should do a better job at blocking you from reaching the destination :D

i feel like without the ability to die or suffer in some way for being hit by critters, theres little reason to engage with the apple mechanic. I do appreciate the twist on the idea of pacifying critters tough.

I also thing the assets are super cute!

Thank you for playing! I totally agree - the critters are not as challenging as I would have liked them to be.
