I can’t say I know much about clickers myself, but this was cute and felt very polished!
Great work! I love all the animations! So cozy. Breaking the game with the free click upgrades was a fun little bonus surprise lol
Other than the issue of free upgrades, I enjoyed this! The art is lovely and the "oink" is adorable.
I did notice that the ScrollContainer on the right snaps to the end every second, making it impossible to scroll up with the mouse wheel.

Having billons of truffles was lol I honestly didn't understand if clicking other pigs gives me anyting else than truffle. 👀
I also noticed that probably guarding pigs are too good, because after hiring one - i haven't seen any caterpillar anymore
But despite that, very solid game for a jam!
Very cute and cosy, love the art style, animations, and sound effects. Great attention to detail. Cohesive and polished aesthetics, but as I’m sure you’re aware, we were able to achieve infinite truffles! Great job, and great pigs!
Before anything, obviously much glowing praise for the art, design, and music. You'll get the term "cute" a lot, so I'll instead say it's "soothing."
Unlike seemingly most, I actually do like idle clickers, but they are challenging in the fact that they can grow infinitely if not balanced correctly, and there ought to be an overarching goal as to what you're clicking towards. As it is, I was mindlessly clicking away at the pig and occasionally clicking the upgrade / job buttons whenever they became toggleable without really understanding what they would do for me, so after several minutes of this, figured there was no endgame and concluded my playthrough.
Nonetheless, Truffle Snuffle could be the basis for something more immersive if the progression matches the functionality of the mechanics. It's wild that this is a solo effort, since the programming seemed to be clean from the surface, the art and animations were wonderful, and it was apparently all a solo effort. Wow. Fantastic ambition and achievement!

Completely agree with your feedback, I was learning all about clickers from scratch this week and had plenty of ideas for how to improve and balance it, but you know how that goes towards the end of a jam. Already working on the new improved version to upload once the rating is all done :D
Not bad! I am unfortunately not a fan of idle clicker games. But this one isn't bad, even though it can't entertain for a longer time. The game also contains some bugs. But I adore the pigs, they're so cute. The music is lovely, too. The mechanics of how you can earn truffles, fruits and science aren't bad. Maybe it's a shame that there is no way to use the science. (Or maybe I played too shortly and didn't come to the place? I stopped with 7 pigs.) Well done, overall!
PS: I encountered this bug: The click update didn't cost anything and I could always buy it. That's a well misusable bug. And I see that I'm not the first one who discovered this...
You’ll be unsurprised to hear that the click upgrade, if it was working properly, was supposed to cost science :D

Everything about this game is so cute! The music fits nicely. I think I broke everything buying too much clicker upgrades, oops. Truffle searching pigs don't bring as much truffles as the main pig. Did I notice it? Yes. Did it keep me from clicking the pigs in the field? Nope :D
You’re not the first and probably won’t be the last to break the laws of physics with infinite truffles!
Everything needs fixing and balancing in general, but as long as people are having fun clicking on cute pigs my work here is done :D

What a cute game! For someone who claims they have no idea about clicker games, you made something that was constantly engaging! I found the progression littered with small but interesting things and the visuals were fun too.
If you buy enough clicking upgrades the game encounters an integer overflow bug, I had that in my game too but you could detect it and stop it from happening :)
