This is a really fun puzzle game, great entry!! There's a bit of a learning curve but when things start to click you get that nice wrinkled brain feeling. The flow of red to green and vice versa immediately after you perform an action is such a good touch of juice, it makes your decisions feel very impactful. The puzzles themselves are well designed and feel satisfying when you finally solve them, not frustrating. I got stuck on puzzle 5 but had fun trying to think it out. A couple of quality of life critiques I would say is the intro cutscene to the level is good the first time, but when you have to restart a level multiple times it gets annoying having to wait 10-15 seconds before attempting again. I think just having the cutscene playout when you first attempt the level would be a good compromise and then let the player start with the level all set up when re-trying. In a similar vein, the ability to restart a level on command by pressing R or something, instead of having to complete all your moves first would be helpful as well. The gameplay is really fun!! So removing stuff that delays that is good. But I think the cutscenes themselves are really good and would work great for pacing by just having them play once. That being said really fun puzzle game with a charming aesthetic, I very much enjoyed my playthrough, keep up the good work!
I really appreciate that you enjoyed the game, and thank you so much for sharing such a detailed play experience! You’re absolutely right that the animation speed can feel a bit annoying for players who are skilled or just want to retry quickly. My current approach was to add an option in the settings to control animation speed, but I realize that’s not ideal—many players might not notice it, and the animations can actually be helpful the first time you play a level.
Your suggestion to only play the cutscenes once is a great idea, and adding a retry/skip button definitely makes sense too. Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback—it’s super helpful and encouraging!
I really enjoyed this game! Nice job!
Thank you! :D
kinda funny this is the second game I have played that reminded me of playing minecraft. Taking me back to my redstone days lol. But the gameplay was pretty nifty on this. Thanks for sharing!
Minecraft is such a classic, so I’m glad my game gave you that vibe. Really happy you enjoyed the gameplay—thanks a lot for playing and sharing your thoughts!"
I got stuck on level 5, but this is a really clever take on the theme! Brain teasers aren’t usually my thing, but it’s clear from the comments that others enjoyed it. You’ve carved out a unique niche with lots of potential to build on. The art and sfx work really well too... I got a kick out of the bugs sounding like they’re shuffling in with little shoes on.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad the bugs sound gave you a little kick. Your comments is just as cute as your game.
As an electrical engineering student this game was really fun to play, the puzzles progressed really nicely, I just wish there was some sort of tutorial on logic gates, but other than that this was all a part of the process in the jam as well ;)
Thanks a lot!
All around great entry! I managed to do all 5 levels first try! Im not sure if im a genius or its just as easy for everyone :D
Thanks! I made levels 1–3 easier so players can learn the basic concept. For levels 4 and 5, I tried to make them as hard as possible: I first drew many nodes, randomly generated bugs on them, played each version, and picked the hardest. I think you’re better than most people—at least better than me! :)
You're a genius!!
Really cool game! My initial thought was that I wished it explained more how the different nodes worked because I couldn't figure that out initially, but ultimately it was fun figuring out what they all did.
Thank you! The game’s all about the basics of digital logic, so it’s awesome that you figured it out without that background!
really nice concept of the game
Thanks for playing
nice idea! For me personally the waiting time is way too long, I wouldn't have the patience for all the "cutscenes" (when the bugs are moving and the lines change color)
cute bugs hehe
Thanks! There are options to control these speed, maybe you want set it to fast.
Ahhh I didn't see that! Will try again on fast :D
Really liked the idea! Would be a fun game to expand on :)
Thanks :)
