Interesting concept which with some tuning could be a really neat game. Mentioned already, a keyboard control for the menu and the try again would be lovely so I don’t have to reach out to my mouse for stuff. Second, either give the player a bounce upon landing a downward hit, reduce enemy hp or increase player damage, as at this point it is not worth figthing enemies as even if I come swinging form above, I’ll will take damage due to their spongyness. Otherwise I can see good things coming out from this game!

That's pretty cool. Monster's hp seems a bit unfair from the beginning, but fun anyway. Good job!
Interesting concept. It takes some getting used to controls and balancing the fall while fighting enemies, but I relatively quickly got a hang on it. Having a keyboard control for "Try Again" would be nice and at some point (after playing several runs) music suddenly stopped while sound effect still played. But other than that, it is well done and fun to play, great work! :)
I see you also had the idea of using falling as a gameplay element :D
Cool idea, I found the fire (especially below) approaching pretty fast without a warning when falling to fast, I had to guess when to stop.
Ideas for optimization: Proper font scaling (fonts were all blurry), label alignment (the numbers on top, whatever they were, were not aligned), better indication of GUI elements (again, the weird numbers on top), allow button input for restart, use customized GUI elements (looks better, especially in low resolutions as opposed to default buttons).
Anyway, well done. Keep falling (err going)!
Thanks a lot for such detailed feedback! 😀 Falling as a gameplay element was fun to explore, and I really appreciate your suggestions — especially about clearer warnings for the fire, better GUI alignment, proper font scaling, and custom elements. This was actually my first time working with a 64x64 resolution, and it was definitely a challenge to keep some of the text readable, but I’ll work on improving that in future updates.
And haha, I’ll definitely keep falling (err going)!
Interesting game concept, but I am not sure what the numbers at the top indicate, they don't seem to be seconds or anything like that.
As a minor nitpick, the blurry UI elements stand out a bit.
Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback! 🙏 The numbers at the top actually show the current wave and how many enemies are left. I see how that can be confusing at first, so I’ll work on making it clearer in the next update. And good point about the UI — I’ll polish that up so it doesn’t look blurry.
Nice one!
I wish there was a key to restart, it’s annoying to reach for the mouse each time.
