Very nice game, sadly I could not get to the boss, but I think it was very fun. Also I could not improve my stats, I clicked on the plus button but nothing happened. The insects made me anxious and I enjoyed exploring the place by crushing the walls.

A strange, horror-y experience that is still making me scratch myself. Holy cow.

Sadly didn't make it to the boss, as I'd broken through so many rooms that the game began to lag on my browser towards unplayability, but this will undoubtedly be one of the more memorable games of this jam. Very good work on animated critter integration and the shake-off + walk breakthrough mechanics, as well as the procedural level creation.

Nice! Great take on the rage room wildcard.
Didn't get too far, my browser crashed (Safari). Not specific to this game, though.

Awesome implementation of rage scene. The critters were genuinely creepy when they got on you. The bossfight was a nice touch! Also that settings screen was very fleshed out haha

this was an intense experience! First time I loaded the game it spawned me outside on the gray floor looking out to the green room. Reloading the page, nice comfy room. I died in seconds out of stress. Then this happened 2 more times, then I started smashing the walls (very satisfying), and squishing bugs. The triangle sofa is the best, breaks things faster I've found (nice little faces on those butterflies!).

Very cool game, congratulations! (plus the name rules)

Fun game! I enjoyed yeeting the creeters! Also it was fun to pretty much wreck everything in the rooms. Overall well done!

It wasn't until after playing that I read the comments and realised you could break the walls! I went back and gave it another try - that's a really neat feature!

Developer

Hah, I guess that should have been more obvious. I’m amazed you managed to smush any bugs without breaking a wall!

I don't think any horror game has ever come close to giving me a feeling of unease like when I smashed the first creeter in this game and the wall fell apart to reaval more creepy crawlies

I had a great time smashing walls and critters. I appreciated the remapping of controls and thought the upgrade system was nice. I would sometimes get stuck in the ceiling, but was able to wiggle back onto the ground. The longer I played, the more lag I experienced, but overall it was smooth and easy to get the hang of. Nice work!

I already commented on the game page but, if you could pick up a cop car why can't you just smash the walls?

Developer

The creeters were crawling on those walls, you don’t want to touch them.

I got traumatized by this game. I killed the spider boss. My trauma is healed now.

Enjoyed tearing rooms apart trying to yeet the creeters. Chuckled at the idea of Monarch butterflies being as formidable as a Black Widow.

Enjoyed this. Though I worry playing it too long would give me a real life fear of spiders (and butterflies!!). Great work on the destructible walls and cool way to unlock new areas and the panic audio got my heart rate up!

I wanted spiders on walls in my game too but couldn't get it working well enough in time. So pleased to see it working in the first game I played in this jam.

Nice work.

Thanks for playing! “working” might be a strong word, if you didn’t see any spiders floating in midair you got lucky :)

i had the doofiest smile on my face playing through this, though my browser started lagging really bad near the end. still made it to 3/3 upgrades on everything though!

Developer

Glad you liked it! Yeah, it does tend to be a bit much for a browser.
