This one actually reminded me a bit of FTL, which is awesome! The dialogues are really well written, and the gameplay has a lot of room to grow. Maybe adding the ability to rotate items could make inventory management feel smoother.
One small thing I noticed: in the tutorial, the text background overlaps with the ship, which looks a bit odd visually. Other than that, I had a great time super promising entry!
