Game Description
Work together to break some crates in this speedy puzzle platformer!

How does your game tie into the theme?
The game features 4 different critters - Olive, a dog; June, a nudibranch; Turnip, a bee: and Kilo-Bite, a Turtle. Each critter has unique stats and abilities, and you can switch between them on the fly. As for the wildcard, Rage Room, pretty much the entire game is built around destroying crates!

Super impressive that you did this all as a solo dev, I loved the art and music! The SFX reminded me of Super Smash Bros Brawl solo player mode which added to the arcade style of the levels. I had fun figuring out the best ways to use each critters' abilities and I feel like the game is perfect for people who like to speedrun.

This was a really fun game. I dug the differences in the characters. I do feel there were a few levels were there were only one or two boxes that needed a specific character to get. I did like the interactions between the grabber guy and the others. I was able to get into a state where the one of the other guys was still attached to the grabber guy even though he wasn't holding him. I had to restart the level to fix it. otherwise good game.

Thank you very much for playing and for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The glitch with June's grab (June is a girl btw) is something I've noticed but haven't figured out exactly what causes it. Definitely something I'll try to look into after the jam.

I loved the music and the sound effects, you really captured that Smash Bros/Rivals of Aether feel! I'm not great at playing the actual game, but the idea is solid and I like the variety in all the characters. Really awesome entry :)

The graphics and music really took me back to old retro games! The jumping control felt a little counter-intuitive for me and I kept switching characters when trying to jump, but I still had a lot of fun!

Characters could be less slippery, and I wasn't a fan of the keybinds. Other than that, pretty good entry.

Nice retro platformer! Loved the Smash-esque elements with the Announcer voice + Break the Targets minigame.

So fun! Reminds me of Smash bros. smash the targets. I love the dive animation for the dog character

Developer

Thank you very much! Break the Targets was indeed a big inspiration for this game

Love the retro theme and music. It would've been nice to have a tutorial of sorts for the characters. I found out accidentally that I could fly as the bee lol. Good job (◕‿◕✿)

Wow! This was a great game, very fun concept and loved the different characters. The music and graphics reminded me of the NES games. The puzzles ramped up well and remained hard but not frustrating - managed to beat the 8 levels and left with sense of accomplishment.

Nice submission - keep them coming

This was fun.  I liked how the first two level had two character each, to get you use to each one's ability and how to switch between them.
