Hi there!
I was very impressed by the visual identity of this game, it is both unique and beautiful. I really enjoyed the cyberpunk style hyper fluro-neon glow, and the use of dark and light areas for transitions. I think this game presents very professionally and I had a good time with it.
Combat feels good. It is fast and easy to control. The animations, and once again, their use of light is brilliant. I especially liked the sword swings in the dark that would illuminate the characters face.
I am usually not a huge reader of dialogue in games, but the pacing in this with the break back and forth between the dialogue and action sections was enough that I read most things.
All around really good. Keep on cooking!
My team also has a platformer in the jam - /jam/feedback-quest-8-indiegames-x-indie-streamers/rate/3773442 can be found here if you have a chance to take a look!
Thank you for a fun neon glowing time!
Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 8! My name's Hythrain, a co-host and one of the streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live as I stream your game! If you're interested in seeing my live reaction, let me know and I can send you a link to the VOD once it's posted to YouTube!
Welcome back DD! Great to see Cyber Paradise again. So I'll admit I don't remember any feedback I gave previously (because my memory is awful), so if there's any repeats here then my apologies. The sound and visuals are all amazing, which I believe they were last time as well.
There were two particular things that felt off to me. First was that gameplay felt like it got very hectic. This came from a variety of sources, such as having lots of cards that you're constantly dropping and some enemy attacks being able to hit you multiple times without you having any ability to escape. The card system to power up is interesting but I feel like it would be better as a more subdued system, getting less overall cards and having more options to do things like merge and strengthen them. Maybe I missed chances to do this, but by the end I felt like I had too many cards.
The other thing that felt off was the pace of the story. Not so much the way it was told while collecting memories, but from the scenario you're dropped into. I feel like it'd be better to be eased into the story more, perhaps showing Hayley's side of things from the moment Mini passes away that leads to her decision to revive Mini digitally. This would then make the memories more interesting, as it's not just about putting the pieces of Mini's memories together but having Hayley learn about the others who Mini brought together. This assumes you don't already have a plan for revealing Hayley's connection, though.
That's all I have! Keep up the great work!
Thank you for streaming again! And all of the comments! We will look into them. Yes, we'd LOVE to watch the VOD once it's out!βΊοΈ
Really appreciate the event. Nice to have so much feedback and VODs! Very helpful to us devs. Thanks for co-hosting it!
Very cute game, pleasant aesthetic, and solid controls. Plus it works with my controller, woohoo! Gameplay was fun and clever, and the bonus at the end was a treat. The cross promo was clever--well played. EDIT--fixed youtube link
Video starts at 11:50 and can be found here https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2545673217

Thanks for the kind words! Just watched part of the VOD. Will finish the rest later. Need to do some dev work now.
You were the first one who noticed Fat Mousy! Guess we have a mutual friend.π€£
P.S.: The cross-promo game is in this jam, too!
I absolutely loved this. Great premise, absolutely adorable art, and very smooth gameplay. I can't wait to see the full version of this game!
Some small critiques:
VOD of the stream is linked below. It will be available for 60 days. If needed for longer, please let me know and a highlight can be created.

Thanks for the stream and all of the feedback!
We are going to add more accessibility features, and let's see if I can add camera damping. I hate motion sickness too! Yes, we're going to do something with the UI. You've got very sharp eyes to notice the axe attack lock thing! Thanks! I will fix it!
I originally wanted to put the cross promotion in the first section, hahaha, but it'd be too intrusive and decided to tone it down and put it at the "end". BTW, we actually have even more crossover content at the end of the "secret content".πππ
Need to do some dev work now. I will surely watch the VOD later (within 60 days!). Thanks for saving it!
Edit: I have fixed the axe! Thanks for your input!
Hi from Feedback Quest 8!
Oh my goodness, where do I even start! This game was an absolute blast to play. I loved the colors, the gameplay, and the personalities of the various characters. I fully admit, the start had me gearing up for emotional damage, but the story of Mini's past is just so sweet and well told that even though I feel pretty sure emotional damage is to come, I was enjoying the ride. It was easy to empathize with the characters so touched by a sweet dog that they wanted her back, even if in digital form.
For the combat, overall, it felt very fluid, and being able to shield with the cuteness of petting your dog is absolutely chef's kiss. That I could pet the dog at all also just had me squeeing with joy!
Overall, the roguelite elements felt pretty balanced to me, though I died a bit more in the areas where there were a lot of enemies. Once I had 50-something cards, I was moving so fast I got a little lost myself, but it was fun! I'll admit, once I got that many cards, I also couldn't keep track of what the effects of them all, but oh man the egg dropping was awesome!
For sure will pick this one up when you release it and already have it wishlist!

Thank you for playing and all your kind words! We love your voice acting! And your reaction to the ending ball spawns made us chuckle! ππ€£A joy to watch! And yes, that's the same Red Rebellion in the jam.
It's 12+
