Themes
The theme that inspired the game was “Is Physics Real?”.
Most golf games rely on physics, using power, spin and momentum to determine where the ball lands. I thought it would be interesting to go against the grain and make a golf game that doesn’t rely on physics for its gameplay. Instead of manually aiming shots and judging power, you move by playing cards. The game is played on a grid and movement is completely deterministic.
It’s a golf game, but without physics.

Jam
This was my first game jam and I’ve absolutely loved taking part in it!
I’ve never attempted to make a game in such a low resolution before; fitting all of the UI elements into such a cramped screen space was the most challenging aspect of the jam for me!
