Really loved the game, and it’s got a nice challenge to it. A few times I jumped onto a leaf and couldn’t grab the tree, maybe it was my mistake, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t supposed to happen.
I was so happy when I reached the clouds and grabbed the shield, I thought I was at the end, but then there was another little town waiting! For the jam, I’d say adding a respawn point around the clouds would be ideal.
The game has a great aesthetic, the art and sounds are amazing, congrats!
