I’m wondering if the AI acceptance in the rules deters people from submitting ideas. It’s making me wary of publicize the idea that would take me months of hard work and collaboration to develop into an actual game.
Willing users of generative AI have a… reputation, you know? And the off-putting stuff made from stolen material that affects interest in projects which look at all similar tends to stifle sharing.
Anyhow, I’m very grateful for this jam already because it’s helping me outline an original platformer game that’s been hanging around since I thought of it early this year. I might keep it to myself until I know it can be made as envisioned, but it’s nice to develop the idea.
