The art style looked amazing. Especially the main screen animation. The gameplay was a easy though, you can avoid all obstacles by just slowing down, pressing the up button and letting it pass by. Maybe add obstacles that are launched in diagonal directions and maybe some that are moving upwards. Some of the jam games with sky fall gameplay are doing that so you can check them out.
Overall it's a simple and nice game, but needs work on the difficulty. Good job, keep it up!
Simple and enjoyable gameplay with very strong art and music. My one gripe is that, in all of my attempts, I was able to get through the first two areas (asteroids and planes) without having to move at all. You might ought to make your obstacles a bit bigger or faster so that the player has something to worry about in those areas. Other than that, excellent work!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate the feedback. I definitely agree about the enemies—I left them until the last minute (not the best idea 馃槄), which is why the enemy system ended up a bit too simple & easy to avoid.
For me the coolest parts of this game were
1. the big painting of the sky that goes from space to ground
2. The death animation of your balloon
3. the little animated bird in your intro.
also dug the music throughout.
the gameplay was a little simple, so not too much to comment on there

Very fun concept, I saw a single solitary meteor right above the ground, which made me chuckle.
