In most tarot, the major arcana are numbered (for ex. Strength is 8 while The World is 21) so a card of a higher number can outrank another major arcana in regards to actions, but some major arcana are too high to beat. This is representative of how dangerous the entity is, in some cases you can't win, so use your cards accordingly.
