Although simple, the game is really engaging! It’s definitely one of my favorites from this game jam. Also, as CavalaxGG stated the knife could maybe follow the apple a bit more closely, as it felt a little too easy but overall, fantastic job!
Very nice game. i liked the atmosphere both music and visuals. but it think making the knive attacks less random and at times follow the apple would have increased the difficulty, because at the end only the fork was able to get me. otherwise a very enjoyable experiance and a good take on the theme
I did think of doing that while I was working on it, but I thought it could be added later so I just didn't bring it up with the team. But yes, I would very like to make it work that way in the future
Fun game with well polished audio visual experience. The red lines could maybe transition from zero thickness to full width to indicate the time left until they become active white slices as well as make the visual less abrupt. Well done!
That was pretty fun! Really well made too. Definitely one of those games I wish there was a scoreboard for.

Real nice game. . I like how it punishes you for not moving so you have to pay attention.
i'm realizing if you try to type while rating it doesnt save your rating, or when you try to leave it says your comment wasnt posted so you end up sending twice.
yea that's actually a common thing on itch.io, it's like filling out a form online, if you refresh the page without sending the form it is not saved.
what i do is i do the rating, save it and then i write the comment! :)
Honestly one of the most fun submissions i've played so far.
Once I conditioned myself to stop making such jerky movements when dodging I got 241 highscore. Wish there was a way to see my highscore tho.
Wow! I like this game, its casual, fun, looks and sounds great! I can see this being a mobile game with different levels and food items etc. Did you do the art work yourself because its really nice! It meets the theme 100%

Great game. Very much a "one more go" kind of feel to it with the believe that I got a high score I can beat.
