Themes
The theme that inspired the game was “Is Physics Real?”.

Most golf games rely on physics, using power, spin and momentum to determine where the ball lands. I thought it would be interesting to go against the grain and make a golf game that doesn’t rely on physics for its gameplay. Instead of manually aiming shots and judging power, you move by playing cards. The game is played on a grid and movement is completely deterministic.

It’s a golf game, but without physics.

Jam
This was my first game jam and I’ve absolutely loved taking part in it!

I’ve never attempted to make a game in such a low resolution before; fitting all of the UI elements into such a cramped screen space was the most challenging aspect of the jam for me!

Too charming

Interesting interpretation of golf. Pleasant gameplay. Of the minuses, the principle of forming the direction of the options is not always clear, often they are all in the wrong direction (minus purely according to my feelings, perhaps this is part of the game design)
