I love typing games and this one is very cute, the graphics, the music, all very well done. Like Speaker_s said, I wished the difficulty ramp up. I stoped at around 2700 cause it was getting repetitive. But I enjoyed it very much, makes me want to create a typing game one day it's a nice genre :)

I think it's really cool how you made this work in multiple languages (even though I'm a cringe English monoglot 😭). It's quite fun, and I'm a pretty fast typer so I managed to make it to 3000 without taking any damage! Perhaps if you update this, you could make the difficulty ramp up, or add creatures with longer names, or maybe you could even add a mode where you need to type their proper latin name (e.g. Papilionoidea for butterfly), which would be interesting. Anyway, fun entry :)

I have saved this game so that i can come back and continue to practice my korean typing. I've been learning Korean since 2020, and I've found a few typing programs on the computer, but since I mostly "voice type" in Korean on my phone, my actual typing skills are mediocre at best. I was able to do the medium difficulty fairly easily, and I learned a few more vocab words thanks to this game. So thanks for the awesome resource! I don't know if you plan to develop this further, but if you do I'll look forward to those updates.
Cool game! I really like the concept behind it - very interesting take on a language learning game! And I appreciate the thought that went into accessibility with the varying difficulties and the practice popups on easy mode. You might consider leaving out "beetle" in the game (or at least just in the English language) since it shares the same starting letters as "bee". It resulted in some scenarios where I began typing "beetle" and the game registered it as "bee" when a bee just spawned in.

I really love typing games, and this one is no exception! The response was really quick and some gameplay details (like not pressing enter, being able to finish a word without problem even when other word comes in, the progress rhythm...) were very satisfying.
For now, I only played in Spanish (a bug: in "libélula", for some reason, it always appeared on screen "libéélula" even when I was writing it correctly), but I also want to play it in the other languages, like japanese (I would have already played it if there was a romaji option, so I don't have to change my keyboard settings).
By the way, it's a really wonderful idea to include different languages in the game!

I'm a typing game enjoyer myself so I made it how I would want to play it. Both me and my partner like learning languages so we wanted to make a game that included that!
This jam is teaching me that I unexpectedly enjoy typing games. Sadly my Spanish run came to an end when special characters entered the chat, but still.
A couple bits of feedback, first the “English” option would probably be better clarified as “English (US)” to avoid confusion. Second having escape be the way to close all the popups meant I couldn’t play in full screen which was a bit of a shame.
Overall though enjoyed this entry a lot, and maybe some of those Spanish words will actually stick with me, you never know!
Thank you for the feedback! Unfortunately we realized the full screen issue a little too late and was focused on other bugs and didn't think of adding other methods. I'm glad you enjoyed the game and I hope the words do stick, that was the goal after all!
