Interesting mechanics. I just hope the rythm dots - whatever you call it - is at the middle with a bit of fading opacity at the sides. Or put it above character. The point is to see the upcoming rythms instead of constantly looking down.
The rifle is also a joy-killer, why the hell does it overheat so fast and what is the point of preventing player to stop shooting for a while? This would just be a burden, an extra thing to monitor constantly. I suggest to remove it and see how playtesting feels lighter because you got lesser stuff to worry about and focus on the fun elements: shoot on rhythm, and avoid enemies.
A rhythm/shooter game is a cool concept! Mixing this will good level design would really allow for a cool game to build. If the song followed the progression of a level that would be sick to play.
This game is fun but unfortunately brought down by being off time with the music (due to a bug w/ unity it seems), I still managed to have a blast though!
This is a VERY nice game, I enjoyed playing it a lot! The rhythm mechanic is very fun and has a lot of potential. Very nicely done game design and great job!
Had quiet some fun! ;)
Some of the stuff i realised:
The idea is sweet and i think with some itemupgrades there is potential ;)
Nice! A really cool rhythm/shooter crossover concept! Don't know if I suck or the rhythm/music track timing might be a little off.
thank you! ye unfortunately it seems like the timing is a bit off when played inside the browser. In Unity is was fine.
