This was a great excuse to learn how to use puzzlescript! I love the low-res limitation, and the variety of themes.

Very cool and smart game ! Visuals are minimal but level design is all that matters in the end :) I'm stuck at some point with tentacle and 2 jellyfishes at the bottom, so I was glad to see that it saved my progress when rerunning the page to scratch my head again ! Well done good job !
I'm glad you liked it enough to come back for a second helping! Thank you for playing!!
I made it up to the second squid level but I thought the each new creature introduced had its own interesting interaction. A unique sokoban type game from what I was able to see.
Thanks for giving it a spin! There are only 10 levels in total, so you were almost at the finish line!
This is a really cool entry! Very intuitive and a great puzzle game. I have nothing to criticize here, well done!
Thank you! 🪼🦀🌊
Fun little puzzle game! Some of the later levels were quite hard, but really satisfying to figure out. Would be nice with some music added, but the gameplay itself was pretty well done :)
Thank you! Puzzle script doesn't support music out-of-the-box (and this was my first puzzlescipt game!) But maybe I will try to inject music into the compiled html - or port the game to pico-8 in the future.
Nice take on Sokoban, some gimmicks we haven’t seen before.
I think the jellyfish and the tentacle explained themselves pretty well, it only took a few tries to grok how they work.
Well done!
Thank you! Your feedback on the sea creatures is helpful, I have been on the fence about sinplifying or clarifying, so this is a good data point!
At first I was like, "ah, another sokoban", but then some other stuff gets introduced and I got stuck in some level with tentacles. Great idea, and nicely executed. Well done! :)
Thanks so much for playing!! 🦀🦑
Was really looking forward to the game and honestly it did not disappoint. Levels taught mechanics in a nice organic way, ramping difficulty in a smooth curve and the tentacles were a really nice addition to normal sokoban rulesets.
Graphics were cute, all the sprites were clear, it is kinda a shame that the main menu and level introduction scenes break the 64x64 rule.
I’d love a little beepboop music track for the background and a better set up sfx sound level.
Otherwise the game itself is amazing, super cool entry!
I spent some time hitting my head against some of the limitations of puzzlescript - and ultimately decided to take the hit on the "authenticity" score for a chance to learn puzzlescript and submit something. Oh well!
Thanks so much for your thoughtful feedback - I always value your opinion!! One of the biggest notes I heard during testing was that the jellyfish movement behaviors were a little unclear, and that some of the puzzles were too long. Did the jellies give you any trouble? And do you see any merit to breaking up some of the levels into smaller chunks?
Honestly, I thought the levels are in perfect order, each mechanics seems to have an introduction level then a few that complicates, adds stuff back in. Jellyfish were “tricky” to figure out, but I do believe it is just them touching end of turn is what converts them.
Good puzzle, just needs a little more animation for the sprite.
Thanks for playing! I don't think puzzlescript supports animations - although I could be wrong, since this is my first puzzlescript game! Maybe it would be worth porting the game to pico-8 or some other platform in the future to give it some juice!
Although it's not my kind of game because I'm not smart enough, I really liked the seaside atmosphere and the gameplay ideas. Nice little game.
Thanks for giving it a spin anyways! 🦀
I like the look of this game. Those tentacles sure are wily and difficult to navigate!
Thank you for playing! I spent an embarassing amount of time trying to make the tentacles work correctly haha.
