Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 8! My name's Hythrain, a co-host and one of the streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live as I stream your game! If you're interested in seeing my live reaction, let me know and I can send you a link to the VOD once it's posted to YouTube!

So my normal approach for any game in these events is simple: I get the game, make sure it's not a virus, then play it with as little information on how to play as possible. This way, I can judge how intuitively someone can figure out the game. Only if it's obvious that I need to read more will I do so. I note this so you can get a sense where some of these feedback comes from. In addition, I want to note that feedback and rating are different; don't use this feedback to gauge what I'll rate, nor should you view my rating as entirely indicative of my feedback.

So, an auto runner game with various power ups to get through obstacles. It's a great concept and I do like it. The graphics are on the simple side, but I imagine that helps with keeping the memory usage low. Personally, I'd rather see this a stand-alone executable game than one embedded into a website, since browsers can really affect how well these games work. Case in point, this game doesn't operate on Firefox, my primary browser of choice. Luckily I do keep Chrome around for these situations, but it's just always better to be off browser IMO.

I did notice some sound effects that clearly came from other games; the sound effect when things shake and fall is clearly from the classic Sonic games on the Genesis, and there was another sound effect (I think for collecting the main gems) that I know I've heard elsewhere but can't place my finger on.

All that said, there's one thing that I was not a fan of: how unresponsive the game could be when trying to jump or execute certain functions (like doing the dive down thing). The jumping felt sluggish to perform and there were times where I'd have to make multiple attempts to dive down.

I'll also admit, I didn't give this game as much time as I normally would have due to one reason: ads. The last thing I want while streaming this game is to be having ads play when my audience already has to deal with ads while watching. As such, I had to cut it short for this reason. If you ever make a stand-alone version of this to play on one's PC without the ads, I'd be happy to give it another go (even if FQ8 is over by that time) to help provide more feedback for it.
