How does your game follow the theme?
It's got a waving hand, tower, and waves. All kinds of waves. I think.

Funny intro. Was confused of what to do at first. The shop could use a visible drop zone at bottom-right or let squidward give us hint how to buy because I keep clicking, dragging and drop anywhere until the spot at the bottom-right did something lol. Cool game, regardless.

I remembered playing tetris on old consoles, remembering how I was shit tier at it and failed spectacularly again and again until I gave up...

Only to realize I am doing it wrong...

Overall a good game...

This is a very unique entry! The art style is definitely weird and quirky, which can be hit or miss but it really worked for me and adds a lot of character. The voice acting is absolutely top notch and seriously puts the whole game together. However, the gameplay felt a bit boring to me as I'm not personally a fan of Tetris mechanics, and the additional elements weren't quite enough to keep me fully engaged. The visual style and voice acting really make this entry memorable and great. Overall, this is a pretty solid and funny entry that shows a lot of personality. Good job!

Thank you and yes the gameplay is definetly not for everyone. Thanks for the compliments!

i couldnt figure out how to keep the fish alive but you have the workings of a good game

Developer

Did you manage to find the shop?

This is really quirky and bizarre. I love it.

The fish reminds me of the Seaman-game released on the Sega Dreamcast in 1999. ^^

that fish has better writing than some AAA games.

Fun twist on the tetris formula

Didn't know there was a shop for like 30 mins :'D at least thanks to that i figured out how to do 32x combos :D

I would really love more levels, and things, once got the hang of the gameplay it become very addictive (though after learning there was a shop and you can feed the fish, the experience ended rather quickly)

I can't state how impressed I am really, very inspiring to see such a game in a game jam

Developer (1 edit)

You are the most dedicated fan. None of us got a 32x combo that's awesome

Addictive! Unfortunately, during my playthrough, the fish stopped eating the food for some reason.

I really like the scarecrow...? design (haha big nose funny)

 loved it :]

I played through the entire game and it was a BLAST! You really did a great job with the game. The Ending though... it was so tragic... I can't believe that would happen to the Jerma-like  fish. Had a lot of fun constructing rube goldberg machines to maximize the bricks.  MY only big critique is that the game does not fit into the theme that  much, but thats not that important. Great Job!

Developer

We butched the theme big time  lmao. Very nice comment though glad you had fun!

nvm i think there's a bug where the fish just can't eat ever again if you feed it while it's dying or something

Developer(+1)

It's true there is a bug. Sorry about that, we didn't catch it in time ;(

Doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, your game is super polished and extremely creative and fun. Had a great time with it!
