Nice work! I really liked the composition. I liked the effects, though I think they maybe got a little forward/busy.

I think some of the synth elements could be wetter too.

Overall though I enjoyed this one and gave it a couple listens.

Great work! :)

Truly an ambient piece of music! Far flung and totally empty, like a endless desert. Great vibe and composing here. Solid and amazing work. Bravo!

Amazing use of foley on the track,  not as easy as it seems to pull of.

Some instruments imaging could be improved in the mix.

I could see this for the begining of a cutscene, I do fear that the foley is too essential to the track, not just texturing the sound, so as an amb track for a game it could not work as well, other than a intro cutscene to something.
Even the ending of the piece sugests it almost as an "intro"to something else.

But I see you went for more of storytelling approach, I do love that!

Good job, take care :)

the first minutes remind me of something you could hear in Zelda Breath of the Wild while exploring snowy areas. The piano at the end it think could've worked better if it was a little less melodically busy, a bit quieter and with a wider stereo image. Other than that, good job!

You know Arctic as I was listening to this, I went on my phone to look at something and heard the ending of your track come in with raw emotional piano. I'd almost forgotten your track was playing until then. Now, what I mean to say, is how that to me feels like what ambient music should do. I could just leave your track playing for hours honestly. For me it hit ambience perfectly. Great job on the design, the minimalism, the sounds. I felt it all worked so seamlessly for me.

The ambiance you’ve created is very nice. It is chilly but also has a certain warmth to it with a VERY minimalist charm. But it certainly gets your vision thru. The walking sounds and clanking are also a nice touch. Well done!

Fairly big fan of this until it sort of becomes an instrumental piece near the end. It's also very low on the volume side of things at some portions compared to others. The foley work is great, but the overall volume and panning could use a lot of work.

Really like the sound design and you kept everything inside minimalist, very nice atmosphere, good job :)

Nice submission ! The track is really good at picturing an atmosphere. The instruments are great, the composition sounds good too and it's really immersive.

A few things however : the sound effects are a bit distracting, which is a shame because the mixing is really clean. I also find that the track lacks structure, in the sense that instead of a progression it seems like multiple ideas were glued one after another instead of guiding the listener somewhere. I also think you could've make it feel ore "icy" than mountain-like.

Otherwise, great track !

Really liked the track and the whole vibe, but felt that the sfx were a bit too loud in the intro part and overall the piano could've been a bit more upfront since it felt a bit too quiet/distant imo.

Still, good work!

I indeed felt the cold hearing this track, great job!

Cool track! I think it works well with the premise you wrote, and has a great sense of atmosphere. If I had to give any notes, I think the crunchy sound effects - which I assume are footsteps? - were a little distracting in the beginning. They were a little loud and at times kinda sounded (to me) like someone crunching on chips or cereal, which is a sound I don't like hearing in real life, haha. Also to me the piano at the end was a little claustrophobic in the low-mids, if that makes sense. I feel like I wanted that piano to sound wider and more open, even though I realize it's supposed to sound ominous and forboding. Those are just personal nitpicks, though. Overall I liked it, good stuff.
