A really cute and straightforward idea! It was confusing at first for me because I didn't quite understand what I was supposed to do to check the photos I had already taken, but after the first round I got the gist of it. It's fun! I know there are some fixes coming, will try it again after for sure!

Developer(+1)

Yeah we have a lot of improvement to do on UX, we thought too big and had to cut a lot ^_^' Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it

The concept was super interesting!

The menu/UI was confusing, at first I didn't really understand how to change the room parameters or access the photobook/hints, I am glad that's on the working implementation.

The biggest hints I missed was in regards to knowing which parameters still had creatures to be found, as in "you're missing 3 night ones" to know to come back to that specifically.

Aside form that super cool ideas, the phantoms were also extremely cute, I want one of these in my room now (maybe I have one and is invisible???)

Developer(+1)

Yeah we have some rework to do on the hint system, we knew it but the comments confirmed it haha! Thank you for your feedback

Maybe you have one already, maybe it settled in your room when you took its picture, who knows :D

Really fun gameplay, lovely art and nice theming. Great job!

I agree some unlockable hints for weather etc would be useful for some of them

Developer

Thank you for your feeback. We will probably add hints for weather when we rework the game, we didn't think of it until it was a bit too late too add, we were so deep into the development that our hints felt obvious for us but turns out it is not really enough. Glad you had fun!

I actually managed to find this game before the jam came out! Super creative, I love the design of the creatures, and I would've never thought of changing the time of day or weather for a collection game!

Developer

Ah? What do you mean, before the jam came out?

Glad you liked our game, and yeah we are all very fond of our little creatures, our artist did a lovely job ♥

An hour before the jam ended, I was looking through the "most recent tab" on itch, and I found this game!

It´s a bit like hide and seek with phantoms. Really cute idea, it reminds me a bit of penko park.

Developer(+1)

This is one of the best compliment you could gave us ahah ! Thanks !

It took me a moment to understand that I needed to take a certain amount of pictures for the "round" to end, but as soon as I understood that, I had a lovely time. I wasn't able to find all of the phantoms but I did get most of them! The game is very well put together and every aspect of the game (UI, art, audio, writing, gameplay) all contribute to a very pleasant experience.

Developer

Thank you ! We're planning to add the count of pictures left in the future update, it should have been here but forgot about it until last minute :,)
Glad you liked it !

Really neat game! I would have liked to be able to open the album in the room to double check hints and what I've already gotten, and had the number of shots left shown on screen

Developer

Those features are on our to-do list when we'll rework the game! Thank you for playing, and for the feedback, glad you appreciated!

I filled out the entire book of creatures. The art and music were so nice and cozy, and the hints were good enough to give me a good guess at where in the room the creature was. So then it was just a matter of checking all eight combinations in those spots, and voila, book filled!

But I do agree that adding hints for the conditions is probably better than brute forcing it like I did :)

Developer

Yeah we did not have enough time to refine the hint system unfortunately, but we definitely plan to work for a better UX wxhen the jam is over!

Good job finding all our little friends, thank you for playing ♥

I liked the idea of finding something that is not available in plain sight, but due to me needing to take a picture 15 times before checking back the book for clues, makes me feel like wanting to spam click random spots and hope for the best in finding the phantoms. Other than that, this is a cozy, well made game :> Keep up the good work

Developer

Thanks ! Yeah that's one of the big issue in terms of mechanics we will try to patch it soon :)

The game was really unique and fun to play! ;3

Developer

Thank you ! <3

I really liked the theme. I think the music choice was nice and the camera sound effect was very satisfying. I think the fact you could spam click to find something didn't feel super rewarding so you could just find a random combination and just click everywhere. I think the art, cosy atmosphere, and the little snippets of text through the journal really made it feel very immersive though!

Developer

Thanks for your feedbacks ! We're glad you liked the ambiance and the efforts we've puts into the immersive feeling :)

I love the concept of a ghost photography puzzle game! The art is amazing and the music + sfx definitely complements it!

I spent all my film on just 1 area at a time, only shifting my slightly in case the phantom was slightly out of frame. A visual indicator of the camera size or maybe an sfx if a phantom was photographed would be helpful.

Also, I was only able to guess the day/weather/heat for the second phantom, was randomly guessing for the rest. Interested to see the hint system after the rework!

Developer

Thank you for playing and giving us your feedbacks !
The sfx idea could be really interesting, we'll look forward to this during the reworking of the project :)

Good concept! I liked it, but the hints are kinda vague. To me personally, I couldn't get the "day/weather/time" from them, so I just picked a random combination and clicked anywhere remotely suspicious...

Nice art, btw!

Developer(+1)

Thanks !
The scene parameters lacking hints is definitely one of the biggest flaw, we're planning to rework the hint system in order to help with this issue
Thanks for playing :)

I love the idea of cute invisible creatures that can be found by photographing a room in the right environment! It's a unique concept and I hope the team behind this game develops it into something bigger. ~ From a QOL standpoint, I think it would be helpful to see the boundaries of the camera snapshot, and for the hints to give you more information about the creature you're looking for (I think having more information/context would also make looking for them more exciting!)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and giving us your feedbacks ! We're definitely planning to work on the nature of the hints and how we're giving it to players once we can update the game :)
