Nice game! I loved the art!
Thanks for the compliment!
very fun little game! much enjoy!
Thanks!
I really liked the concept! I also enjoyed the art, and the fact that my biscuit was saved in the main menu when I returned! really cool detail. My wife also really enjoyed playing it! :)
Glad that you and your wife liked it! :)
Music was pretty loud on startup, and I wasn't exactly sure where to go at the start. I liked the art style and besides the volume the music was cool.
You can press “Help” for instructions!
This is very well made! Art and sound is clean, and I love how you have implemented risk. If I had to give any other feedback, it would be about finding a way to reduce repetitiveness over rounds, and perhaps improved controls and jumps. This is the highest rating I have given so far, well done and great game.
Very glad that you enjoyed it! I tried my best to use my time well but I kind of burned out/ran out of time. If I was to continue development, I would add variations in enemy stats each respawn. The controls have been a common point of criticism; I need to get better at platformer controls lol.
Fantastic game. I love the theming and the risk/reward element of whether or not you want to keep playing when you've broken your own record. One thing though, some of these jumps feel absolutely unfair, like they require pixel perfect precision which doesn't feel right. If you could make some of the platforms just slightly closer together that would be nice.
Thank you! My thought process for those jumps was to play into the idea of risk further by having the player decide if they want to risk the jump. I can see where you are coming from though especially for someone who hasn’t seen the jumps before and don’t know where they are in the level
Cool game, you spend the time well :) Little Tip: the font is very hard to read and as the tutorial is a very long text its kinda hard to follow
Yeah, the font was the best pixel font I had at the time. I will look into alternative pixelated fonts to use for future games!
I loved the visuals the bake it page is super nice.
A few things personally:
Firstly, I struggled with playing this game, I like cookies and this one is a biscuit main character.
Secondly, character movement too hard maybe it skill issue but I keep getting flattened by the rolling pin
Wish it was a bit more forgiving
yeah, the rolling pins are a bit hard. It was originally even faster on level 1 but yeah it does still take some practice. I wanted it to be cookie dough as well for the main character, but the art was too difficult unfortunately.
Glad you liked it!
I like how simple it looks but still feels engaging while playing.
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
the idea and game is very fun, but movement is so bad :(
sorry about that… Do you mean that the movement is too slow or what specifically?
i think its too ruf, and jump is too short. maybe some momentum and coyote time would make it better
hm there is cayote time currently, I thought momentum would make it way too hard. Thanks for the feedback
I ended up making the jump more powerful if you want to replay it
