How does the game fit the theme?
It's a clicker game where you are baking and you can risk your money by investing in R&D, risking money for a better recipe ("a biscuit").
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I got the timer sound effect from Freesound.org.
I also used some sfx for metal wobbling from an asset pack. Otherwise all made during the jam time from scratch.

I played this for way too long and by the end everything was basically flashing and it was really funny.

Great cookie clicker execution. I wish the achievements had a description, I couldn't figure out squad goals. The cost ramp was crazy too, towards the end it became impossible to upgrade, but by then my little bakery was worth more than the entire planets GDP, so I think that qualifies as a win :)

This inspired me to make a snowman clicker game for a game jam. I wanted to give credit for that.
Perfect fit for a simple idle game loop! The sounds are lively—every bit of feedback felt satisfying. While the minimalist visuals work well, after a while it starts to feel a bit plain; a touch more visual variety or progression could help. Overall, a strong game jam entry!
This is the best idle game I’ve ever played. It has huge potential, and there’s definitely room for even more content in the future. The visuals, feel, and sound effects are all perfect

Quite interesting idle clicker game that also feels a bit like a tribute to the original cookie clicker game. The staff's role being starting baking processes and selling the cookies is an interesting and successful choice instead of just having them bake on their own. The R&D being random success but also necessary to proceed makes for some good risk-taking.
Overall a cool game!
