"You like eating biscuits don't you?" lol
Loved the game!
For a game made in 7 days, it was pretty polished and I enjoyed my time!

How does the game fit the theme?
A biscuit guides the player into taking down an evil Biscuit corporation, what more could you ask for?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Sound effects (not music). Everything else is ours, including music, code, and art. Yes, even the dancing gif, we had to manually rotoscope that
How many people worked on the game?4

I haven’t been able to check out the game by myself, but based on the provided video, the idea seems fun, and it feels polished, I just wish I could have atleast played it :)
Nice music, the aiming was accurate and the reload mechanic is very fun!
I really like the feel of this game and the concept/execution is really well done. I love the feel of the kick from the gun, the sfx. It really feels like there is power behind the shots and satisfying to defeat the enemies. I think there is a lot of good ideas and concepts in this but may need to adjust to fit the overall theme/idea you're going for. I really like the comedic, upfront, jokes atmosphere of the story and the feel of things. I think this is where there is a bit of inconsistency with the gameplay. I LOVE the reload mechanic and think it is really cool but it just doesn't quite fit the feel of the game. The game feels like it should be fast paced and running and gunning but the reload mechanics forces me to stop moving and hide away which takes away from the killing spree feel of the game. In addition the enemies kill me so fast, that I play so safe it becomes almost like a splinter cell, stealth game wehre i have to proceed very slowly and carefully to not die and start over. With a few tweaks, this can work super well and make it even more addictive. Congrats on the submission and great game!
Very good game! I liked art and background music! Wizard with gun is the best thing I have ever seen! Each enemy shot make it really risky. Also it would be good if spells would be greyed out when you dont have enough energy for it.
I couldn't get it to move, tried WASD and all, three separate times. Normally I don't download and play because it takes a lot more effort than play in browser versions, but glad you seem to have made something cool.

I played and rated your submission, will you play and rate mine!
“Crumb Quest” is a first-person puzzle-shooter where every move counts as you collect the ingredients to make different traditional British 'Biscuits'.
There are 5 fully playable levels as well as a short tutorial level.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said… damn, nice game!
What a game, holy. The reload mechanic was something new and so unique, nothing ive seen before. Such great visuals and SFX. Amazing game. Only if the conversation stuck bug didnt annoy me at the start lol
I liked the game, I was just confused about understanding the controls.
Great game! Loved the reload sequence! The game is kinda hard, but regardless, liked it!
I really don't know how to feel about reloading, it's very cool, but I have caught myself going to safe place after 3 bulllets shot, I guess that's just skill issues from me)
Also telling interaction button would be good, had to spam through hole keyboard to find it's Z
Hahaha the options menu is the best :D
After I figures out the reload system the enemies had to chance!
Maybe a run button would make things more risky???
Very Good Game Congrats!
Really fun game, everything feels very responsive and good, well done! Felt really good to go through the streets and gather your small army that shoots down everything in sight. Overall, very cool game.
The first level though! That was rough as hell, felt to me personally like the hardest part of the game. I think enemies should have a delay of like 0.2s or something after sensing the player, before shooting. The way it is now, it's pretty hard to not get screwed over entirely, as soon as more than 1 enemy can see the player. Then again, this difficulty also made it really exciting and rewarding to get through the levels.
That's a pretty good suggestion. If we do update the game in the future, I'll put a delay like that (or, at least, try to make the difficulty more managable 😅). Did try some balancing during development - for example first level enemies had 7 bullets in the clips before, even 1 enemy could screw you over, so giving them 2 bullets was supposed to counter that. Yet the problem seems to persist in the way you described :p
Thank you for checking it out, and thank you for the suggestions! Really appreciate it!
Tried out your game! Really enjoyed all the baked puns, if you will! Very funny!
The shooting part was quite hard for me personally - but the atmosphere, music and overall absurdity was great!
It just feels reaally good to play, well done. Impressive amounts of content and writing for a game jam game!
"we dont have animation budget fot that" love this game
its movement feels weighty, good gameplay and sound and i think you should add more checkpoints
The game feel is absolutely amazing! The sound effects, camera shake, bullets whizzing by etc.
And the god damn reload got me so flustered, getting stuck in a room trying to enter the combination under pressure is hilarious.
