How does the game fit the theme?
It's set in a universe where hardened candy is the main building block man-made creations. MC chooses to risk her life, just to capture a ship called Biscuit, after all the inheritance of a Pirate Lady was staked on it - marital status of her own daughter included.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All of the code and art is going to be made by the creator.
Pictures would have sketch process in the devlog,
And the code, besides being a bit too obviously beginner level, would have adjustable snippets about fun moments of creating a game (and mistakes with it) in devlogs.

loved art style
Cool concept it would be nice if when you finished the story the game didn't close itself, maybe a return button to the main screen to allow to choose different paths.
That's a good idea! Thank you.
Had added the version during the closing of the grace period with bug fixes, and your suggestion)
This is really charming! I love the artwork you have for everyone.
Thank you. Here's art for the character roughs, sketches and colouring into one file:
Woah that's really cool, thanks for sharing! :D
Would guess have to apologise, actual gameplay (Title screen with language choice) would appear in Version 02. Apologies for confusion!
Version 01 is more of a test for how the game works on various OS.
At the very least, seems like the game does open on Windows, the code of Version 01 just opens a window of set colour and refreshes itself at 10fps.
Indeed, since then had added first the prologue, and then the full game in English, with some language support.
No more of these pesky test screens about anymore.
