Ranked from 31 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
As you collect more peanuts with each level, your cheeks grow in size and weight causing your movements to become more erratic, increasing the chance of falling to your doom. Do you risk the chance of getting more peanuts and potentially falling to your demise? Or call it a day and bask in the nutty haven of the peanuts you have collected.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
the pixel font and some UI components were taken from free asset packs. Credits given in the game's page.

Everything else: code, music, sfx, and pixel art were made from scratch by me.

great game!  I like the art , and the animations. The controls are responsive and the physics is part of the challenge of not jumping and running too fast.   This has good replay value. Overall, I enjoyed playing this one!  Congratulations! keep it up!

Wow this was very cute. I really liked the animations and the sounds of the squirrel. Somehow it dying made me laugh xd. Well done game!

I guess you also watched the Mark Rober you tube video about his squirrels!  Enjoyable and cute.  Wish I didn't have to start over at level 1 when I always die at level 3.  Sprite animates very cute, a little slippery on the platforms but perhaps that's part of the risk.  Please try and rate my submission if you can, I'm continuing to develop it so when the rating is over I'll have an updated version based on all the feedback.

Very fun and entertaining, for some reason on my scond stage I was able to get 128 peanuts haha.

Cute. Also frustating but in a good way, kept going back and falling and going back again.

I would say it is a well-executed game. Not too much, but clean and pleasant!

Very cute. I would like to be able to retry a level on failure rather than have to start over. The mechanics are nice, quite satisfying.

Cool interpretation of the theme. The idea is simple, but it is fully and nicely implemented. The artwork and music are great and make for a very cozy atmosphere and very polished. Congratulations!

I use a compact keyboard (for competitive gaming) so I don't have access to arrow keys - but I LOVE the idea and the inspiration of it! Such a cool implementation of the theme! The music and visuals are fantastic as well - great submission!

really fun game. the controls were difficult at the start and were still difficult after multiple attempts, but gave off a fun relaxing feel. So while the movements made it feel like you were on ice I enjoyed playing as a squirrel.

Pretty good game!

The game was fun. I use Unity myself, but I’ve always liked Godot.

I liked the game! interesting concept, would have liked if the mouse has a few lives before dying but overall it was fun!

Interesting movement, but i think jump should be space. I think i really suck at platformer lol

The weight/movement mechanic is your special sauce, l found the difficulty made it well paced which is impressive for a first submission. Good solo project and nice artwork.

WOW this is your first game congratulations I'm new to the dev community to. The art looks so good great job the controls felt good but at times they it was a bit slippery but otherwise this is a nice little game 😁👍

LOVED the balloon cheeks. Thought the speed and hamster physics were great as it added some challenge :) Only constructive feedback is that I think the choice of 'Going Home' between each screen wasn't really necessary and that it would've been fun just going from level to level directly.
