I played on my phone on the itch app and can't seem to find a way to close the score menu (exit button don't work?). For my improvement suggestion I'll mention bone2d node on godot, for the type of shooting that you are going for you could use that to have the arm of the player rotate 360 degree as oppose to the 8 direction if you would like. Good job on the submission & goodluck on your godot journey!
thanks for the feedback :), do you think the 2D bone node is needed or just a subjective thing? discussing it with the artist right now
Its up to your creative vision and which you like more :D, I'm just presenting that option in case you didn't know about that node's existance yet. So subjective it is.
The post-processing is quite good, and the visuals are really great! ^^
// mobile control on pc's really itchy tho! ><
Overall, A nice game! ;D
thanks for the feedback yeah it was mostly a mobile game but with a lot of feedback i put out normal pc mechanics build in the discord :)
This game was really fun and i enjoyed playing. The art style is really cool and fits the them and the game itself perfectly. Rated 10/10
Please try my game as well and comment and rate your experience D:
Racookie Heist
The game feel is actually pretty good but I have some feedback for improvements:
Maybe an interesting video for the type of game you made (I was just saw this yesterday):
thanks for the feedback :), yeah the game is mobile focused so far the PC was just extra it's written in the information below, and yeah most are known but the balance between making the game hard and fun, would be a lot harder if zoomed out (so it was acceptable bs for the gamejam) and would be way easier, but yeah as we move on we will do most of that, but the aiming and camera thing an interesting idea but feel on mobile wouldn't work well will just zoom out a bit, but yeah we will lower the gun volume, thanks
edit: thanks for the video and also I'm learning godot shaders for explosions etc for later, well explosion one mostly done.
if you interested fixed that all in the discord builds (gotta wait till the ratings over until can continue on itch.io)

Really fun concept with great visuals! Feels like it has a lot of potential if expanded further. Nice work!
The art is absolutely goregous, looks amazing all round. The gun sound gets a bit grating pretty quickly, and aiming by emulating a touch screen with mouse is pretty uncomfortable. Either way, still a fun loop! Good entry.
yeah it's mostly for mobile but may do pc and many people may be on pc so shouldn't restrict it
great fun game
I got a high score of 20,309. The game lags on my phone but I had fun on my computer. Great job on all the art and I like the sounds.
thanks :) yeah the artist is very talented
If anyone interested in following its growth made a discord with the artist where i put in all the feedback (don't let this change your rating tho)

The shooting feels great and super satisfying, and the visuals are both beautiful and expressive. The only downside is that the content is a bit limited right now, but if more is added it would be perfect. This game has a ton of potential
Thanks yeah with the decent amount of positive feedback we made a discord and will put more time to it
edit: made a discord if you wanna help shape and follow its growth

Awesome game, it was pretty fun and great that it's adapted for phone. Would be nice if it was more tied in with them. Like to get biscuits you would need to get in more risky places with more enemies or more powerful ones. To give this risk reward choice to player. Overall great experience.
thanks yeah it was more the risk of the health for the power and speed boost as the core and i added the anti cookie which gave a health and lost the power and speed
and then added the upgrade cookie
and more complex places would require navmesh navigation or more power which having many agents doing that on the web idk as was my first time in godot
thanks for the feedback tho :)
yeah, I understand. but I meant maybe as some advanced goals if you continue.
I gather this isn't intended for PC, but rather for mobile, given the controller overlay. I initially had some difficulty figuring out the controls on the PC for firing. But after that I've spent a good amount of time on it, it's that kind of immediate feedback/reward mechanics that gets you hooked up. I think one polished more and with more upgrades/etc. It would be a very good mobile game to kill time. (and zombies) :) Good on you trying out Godot, it's a fantastic engine!
yeah it's focus is mobile and yeah will add more upgrades that adds more and different game play dynamics and experiences, thanks for checking it out :)
good game
Challenging at the right point! Really enjoyable. For future updates after the game jam, I'd love to see other fun power-ups while progressing.
thanks :) yeah was hoping to get unique power ups than just stat changes
Good game
Fun game that has good pacing and balance. Has a lot of potential too
Nice little game! A bit laggy on my phone, but it was quite enjoyable:). The visuals were great and the upgrade system is a great addition. Good job :)!
Thanks, the Web version or apk on your phone was laggy?
Unfortunately it isn't running for me :(
Are you using a 2k/1440p or above screen?
Yeah 1440p, it loads infinitely. I clicked above the run button and it didn’t do anything
yeah for 1440p click a bit above the play button (in the game main menu), wait does it not even get to the menu for you?
Great looking game. Gets quite tough the longer you survive.
Nice looking game, well built, the phone controls confused me a little bit on PC, but it was easy to figure out everything. I really miss some good background music though! Good game, Well done!
thanks :) yeah the main goal is for mobile but with godot it was easy for the others and we gonna continue it in the future
