Thanking all for playing, rating and the nice feedbacks. I've now uploaded a post-jam fixed version that resolves the gameplay duration bug and includes a few other minor fixes.

Very relaxing clicker-crafting game, nice mechanic of using the chair to boost rest and recover energy for mining/chopping wood.

I saw the yellow "Y" on the screen, so I think I should press the "V" key. I've read the mapping on the page. However, even if I press the "V" key, nothing happens.

Not sure what I'm supposed to do. Yes, sending parties to do quests, but I get no feedback when the quest is over (if it is) and what happened to the NPCs. Perhaps I'm missing something; with a bit more polish, this could have a nice play.

Using the keyboard only on the web version. I'm afraid I couldn't get any of the keys to work.

Just played your game. Here is mine  /jam/gwueble-jam-2026/rate/4825622

Interesting idea, can't get off the stairs from the ground floor onto the next floor though.

Very original game (scored high there). Controls were a bit hard; now and then the camera was going crazy, moving in every possible direction even though I was barely touching the mouse. Quite hard to see anything at night, so it made playing rather difficult. Overall, with some tweaks could be an interesting idea to develop further.

I actually did already (2 days ago) and also left feedback :)

I was devastated when I realised I pushed the version with the testing parameter, which was a last-minute thing I did to test the winning condition - lesson learned!

I'm glad you liked the menu. UI is one of my pet peeves when it comes to games and software in general. I spend a lot of time on it, perhaps too much.

I can't take credit for authoring art and music, but I shopped well :)

Thanks for the detailed response; I really appreciated it. I concur with you on all points :) - not sure if it's one of the most interesting projects; have you seen the other? It's decent though, and I'm happy(ish) with the outcome.

Thanks for the feedback. Though I created the UI parts and made some minor tweaks to the sprites and tilesets manually and found a cohesive set of tilesets and sprites, I can't take credit for the art, whose authors are listed on the game's credits page.

Played your game and left a comment in your rating page as well. I'd appreciate it if you could play my entry /jam/gwueble-jam-2026/rate/4825622

(Pity of the last-minute rush to upload the game; I forgot a test parameter in there, so the gameplay is cut short, so bear this in mind when you play)

Solid entry and aligned with both themes. The mood and atmosphere set during the intro scene is spot on, though there is quite a disconnect in terms of art style between the intro and the actual game; not sure if it was intended or just a lack of time (understandable given the confines of the jam).

The visuals inside the room were a bit hard to see in the darkness, definitely gave the idea of being at night, but it was hard to see anything even with the monitor brightness high enough. The physics needs some tweaking: a bit more weight to the player, or extra gravity, as I felt I was floating most of the time, and the jumps definitely felt like being on the moon.

Nice touches with audio direction both on music and sound effects.

I love this kind of spreadsheet simulator, basically - lots of depth and thought went into making this without being in your face with flashy effects. Simple, clean and efficient UI; you understand what to do straight from the beginning without much of a tutorial. I can actually see the link with the theme, though subtle, but it's there! Well done!

Your art is gorgeous; the implementation of the game is equally good. I didn't encounter any bugs. Amazing job for such a short amount of time!

I didn't encounter any bugs, and the game ran smoothly. Very good use of the palette and resolution constraints you self-imposed. I concur with other comments; your use of sound effects is spot on. Perhaps a music soundtrack somewhere in certain moments of the game could have increased the mood, but I didn't miss it. You did an amazing job, and also quite a complex game loop, mechanics, etc. to pull off in a few days! Congrats

Good job, typing games are fun if you can type. I had fun, but I wasn't paying much attention to the actual dialogue. so it's either reading the context and dialogue or typing and winning... :)

For the little I've managed to see, looks very polished. But it's challenging, thus taking away the fun element for me. That's more of a me problem with this genre of games rather than an issue with the game itself, though.

I agree with you completely. I wasn't very happy with the font either; the best I could find fitting the game resolution.

Sure, no problem. Done. I've added your game to my favourites, so I can keep an eye out for when you publish on Steam so I can wishlist you. All the best luck with that!

If I may ask,  what's your secret to getting so much traction and feedback? I always struggle with getting people to come and see/vote for my little game. I know part of it is probably the cover page and the game itself. I suck at marketing myself and raising awareness through social channels.

Had lots of fun with this one. Easy to understand, to control and to get stuck into right away. Can do with some touch-up on the sound effects, as some are a bit too scratchy for my taste (just personal preference), but overall impressive work for such a short time.

I got 21015 and change. It got very difficult at that point, and I lost control of the situation. Had fun though. I love clicker and tower defence... :)

Leaving a link to my game in case you want to check it out (due to the last-minute rush, I've left a testing parameter in there and shortened the gameplay a lot, so that's a bummer, but the game is still working :)  /jam/gwueble-jam-2026/rate/4825622

Nice clicker, though it gets quite difficult at some point, it's hard to click on the enemies overlapping on the fuels.

Ok, there is a chair, there are flames, and the guy is slow-burning, I guess, so the theme is kind of adhered to. But man, the music and sound effects just pierced a hole through my brain, def not expecting to experience that after a long day at work and a pounding headache. With submitting this 3 and a half days before the deadline, i guess you didn't have much time to work on it.

Had lots of fun with this one. Easy to understand, to control and get stuck into it right away. Can't really see a strong link with the theme, though, and some sound effects are a bit too scratchy for my taste, but overall impressive work for such a short time.

It feels weird to rate it for having fun. Thanks for sharing this; it's a nice, well-thought-out point-and-click mini-adventure. - Not sure what kind of feelings you wanted to transmit through this, but I had an immense sense of sadness. Just a quick note on the controls: when at the end of the dialogue popup, I press Enter to exit the dialogue, I also need to move in some direction, as otherwise the dialogue appears again.

I might have missed something, but there is no wood in that room? Am I carrying it?

Nice work. Loved all the various abilities from weapons (hmm, yummy laser) and the chairs. Got a bit stuck sometimes, as in sitting on the chair but couldn't move - not always, though.

Neat game, simple but very well executed. The feeling of claustrophobia really hits; the sound effects are well managed and placed. Is well balanced in its simple mechanics, but gives a sense of accomplishment anyway. I've managed to go down and back up with only one red box of hull damage and one box left of battery.

Amazing game Mikael. If you have time, here is my little game /jam/gwueble-jam-2026/rate/4825622 - mind you in the rush to push it before the deadline, I've forgotten a test parameter in there, so the gameplay loop is very short :( I've asked the organiser if I could upload the fixed version, but I haven't heard anything back. The game is not broken, but just very short, so you can only experience a little.

Absolutely stunning. I'm not a fan of platformers, but this is definitely hitting all the right spots, and I've managed to play longer than I would have anticipated.

The art reminds me of a comic strip I watch on yt sometimes. Very cohesive throughout the game, HUD, etc. Not good with platformers, but this one didn't frustrate me as much, and I've managed to get far enough before starting to get killed by the lava too many times.

Gorgeous art direction, sound and art. Unfortunately, I'm very bad at platformers, so I can get on the first 5 or 6 platforms after a few attempts and then I get frustrated and I quit. For the little I've played was very nice, very atmospheric.

By my own admission, I'm very bad at this kind of game; I can't get past the first half of the first level. So rating purely on screenshots and your YouTube video.

I've asked in the Discord channel, but haven't got a reply yet. I'll def publish the good version after the rating ends.

Thanks for the nice feedback and for spending the time to play and rate.

It's my bad; I've used the game over menu scene for both winning and losing conditions but forgot to update the menu title when winning ... If you get a Bravo, that means you won even though the title on the dialogue window says Game Over :(

I've also just realised that I've pushed out a version with reduced gameplay as I was testing one of the winning / loosing conditions and forgot to reset it back before publishing. It's not a breaking bug, but it makes the game very short; that's why you had the impression you didn't need to do much.

You can check the status of the system by going into the chair room and sitting on the chair; that brings up the dashboard where it says how many lanterns you have, how many are lit, what the town mood is, and where you can order more wood.

Nice art direction and sound, but I can't pass the room with the stove. Every time I go near the stove, the little status bar goes up a bit and goes down again and never goes up again. I can't find the right area trigger? Going near walls or any other place in the room doesn't do anything, so I'm a bit stuck with continuing the game loop.

Simple but well executed, clean and crisp art, really like the style. The chair exploding effect is very nicely done, and so the splatter of the player on the stage. Though it is a bit too unforgiving, perhaps you could have added a bit of extra resistance on the player's side just to be able to go a bit longer and make a couple of mistakes instead of perma-instant-death.
