How does the game fit the theme?
The risk is that the cat gets angrier as time goes by, risking getting killed and losing all your cheeses, but the cheeses you earn also increase (rewards)
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Only the planks and sounds/musics, everything else is devart (Enjoy our artists skills)

Fun game. I never got to keep any cheeses--and I never saw special cheeses. Is there a minimum time you have to stay alive to keep your cheeses? (My bad-skills max was 42 seconds.)
OK, tried again with a controller and found I could go to Shelter, but I guess you need 100 cheeses and spend them, otherwise you lose everything if you get pawed.
So that makes the win conditions the number of cheeses to buy decorations.
I did have fun failing!
Very fun game. I like the idea of staying out longer and getting more cheese by risking getting hit once the cat gets faster and potentially losing everything. The only thing I would change, if you have time, is redrawing the furniture since it looks like it was made in fewer pixels, and it is stretched, and it doesn't match the outline of the rat and other things, making it a little less cohesive.
Overall, a fun little game. I like the different milestones you hit as you get more cheese. I was able to get some furniture, but my wife didn't make it back yet! :D
rat.
But for real, I really appreciate this game. I feel like the difficulty and multiplier scaling are a perfect representation of theme mechanically and diagetically. It felt fun just ratting around and waiting for a higher multiplier before snagging all those sweet little cheeses. Great work.
I really enjoyed playing your game! Even though the core idea is quite simple, it managed to keep me engaged and curious about what would happen next. The difficulty made it feel rewarding to progress, which I really liked. Great work overall!
