How does the game fit the theme?
"Risk it for the biscuit" - both literally and metaphorically. The end goal is to obtain the Golden Biscuit that Nobody misplaced, and the player chooses what amount of risk they are willing to take in order to gain appropriate rewards. Difficult spells are more effective, but harder to pull off.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Absolutely incredible work!
For a two-person team, this is genuinely an outstanding achievement!
The visuals are stunning—everything from the sprites and animations to the spell effects is just so beautifully crafted. I’m genuinely amazed. I adore this art style; it’s such a joy to look at!
Gameplay-wise, it was super intuitive. The effects were clean and easy to read, and the short descriptions made everything feel accessible without sacrificing depth.
Some of the ability minigames were a bit tough for me (Lightning, I’m looking at you), and let’s just say their enhanced versions... remain unspoken 😅.
But Chaos Bolts? That was my ride-or-die spell. When I finally got the Jar, I was very happy!
Gale was my reliable backup😉
PS. Made the wizzard happy!
This is such a charming game, I love the writing and the art so much :)
I really like that slay the spire style choosing the next room you're going to be going into. The mini games were fun but unfortunately it was a little laggy in my browser which made some of them a little too hard for me to get right. That's just how it goes sometimes though!
Great work with this!
The art style really pulled me in to try this game and I'm glad it did, I loved using the different spells to try to do the most damage before I get killed. I only wished during the rapid fire spell it made sound with the pop ups spawned as well, other than that the game is wonderfully polished well done!
Loved the minigames, but the harder/special versions were too much risk to handle :`(
The humor, art, and sound was great!
Absolute Cinema! This game is so balanced in everything I really enjoyed it so much. The theme is perfect and the mechanics are implemented cleaverly. The use of the spells and the minigames it has are super fun although i faced issues with the purple bubbles kept losing because of them T_T
Excellent work!
Super clever and amazing art! The minigames are all suited to like exactly my weaknesses, like give me the four things I’d be the worst at and I think this would be the set. It feels super swingy and punishing to miss spells at times and like there’s very little recourse if you do. It’s a fun idea but I wish it weren’t so difficult. Good work though :)
Wow incredible game. I love the "slay the spire" gameplay with minigames. For real it's one of my favourite from this jam ! And it's so well done with the dialogue that explain each spell with a bit of humour. I love your game ! Definitely going to be one of the winner. Congrats <3
The art is amazing, really perfect! The gameplay too, it’s a very unique and creative game, such a perfect fit for the theme. But wow, the difficulty of the risk was way above normal, for me it was basically a death sentence to try using those spells. After about 6 attempts on the last two difficulties, I think I only managed to pull off one skill.
The sound is also really good. Great game, congrats to the team!
Game feels well polished, has great art and sound design. Risk/reward nature of main gameplay loop is very cohesive with the theme. I'm not a fan of minigames and qte mechanicks so so it got frustrating for me fast, but, even so, I can see that the game is quite good. Great job!
Really fun game! The art is super charming and the spellcasting minigames add a cool twist. Great job!
Wanna try my game?
I really liked that in order to attack, you need to play mini-games that have different difficulty levels depending on the strength of the spell.
The game looks good, feels good, very clean and beautiful art
Very fun and challenging game, great themes and art style, really loved this one, I am a sucker for turn-based, but this concept of risking it make it even more fun. Great work! I want more of this!
This is a very creative game and I really love the art style! It would be nice if the spells had a reduced effect if you make a mistake, since "all or nothing" felt pretty punishing. But it didn't take much away from the fun I had, and I suppose that's part of the risk of attempting the difficult spells!
A really fun game! Adorable artstyle, with fun risk vs reward gameplay.
Well done!
