Really fun concept, very interesting, the art is reeally good, so is the music sound effects and the voice acting! Didnt have enough time to properly play for longer sadly, but looking at the screenshots I can tell it depends on which character you pick you get different inventory setups, very neat! Great job guys

How does the game fit the theme?
The game reimagines the theme by having bakers literally “battle it out” in auto-battler tea party duels. Each baker risks it all to prove they’re the best, turning baking into a contest of strength, strategy, and sweets.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

The Game was really unique so points for innovation, it wasn't easy to understand the controls right off the bat and it took me a few tries to realize what i was supposed to do, also sometimes the opponent would hold nothing in their inventory, so at that point i have no choice but to lose as there's no way to defeat them, But this game does have potential and for a jam game this is a good demo. The Main menu music could have been better or different as it didn't exactly capture the Goofy and Colorful yet pastel color pallet or feel of the game and it tended to get quite repetitive over time and i was honestly sorta disappointed when i ran the game and heard such a low simple basic sound track, The art style was really good though and i really enjoyed (the from looks like the one from Sesame street XD) and i loved the color pallet, it was subtle, Reminded me of marshmallows with all the soft but Pop pastel colors. Still a great game regardless with a lot of good ideas :D

btw, Please try out my game Racookie Heist as well 😊, I worked really hard on it as well. I hope to see you in the Racookie Heist Comments section soon :D
Love the theme, strong visual style, and chill baking vibe. A tutorial level would help and music can be stylistically more coherent.
Good luck!
Right off the bat, I loved the art! It's so cute. It took me a few rounds to really understand what was happening. I probably skipped some of the items to expand your inventory without realizing. If you keep developing this game, a simple tutorial level would do wonders. It was kind of intimidating at first. Nice work! :)
The game is cute and the graphics are amazing.
All the elements are great, but the gameplay is a bit long and requires a bit of waiting. I think it needs a lot of development. Keep up the good work!
This is a fun little game! It reminds me a bit of super auto pets (in a good way) with how you battle other players and have a shop to set things up. I like that it isn't time based though, it let me read through things and try to figure out how the items interacted with each other. The storage is a nice option too.
I did seem to run into a glitch when I first tried playing as soon as I hit go it took me to this screen and I was unable to progress/get out. I ended up refreshing the page and trying to play again. I'm glad I did since I quite enjoyed your game! The art and music is cute, it feels really polished overall too. Well done!

Super cool and complete game already. Some tweaks here or there, I can only imagine what this would be with more time in the oven. ;) Felt like I was playing an animated kids game show. So fun and immersive but definitely not simple like one. Wasn't expecting this to be like a deck builder.
Really awesome game, one of the best I've seen in the jam so far without a doubt. A lot of different systems coming together to make a relatively whole experience which is amazing to see especially considering the heavy time limit that the jam has everyone under. The art and music are perfect for the game's tone as is, the different systems in the game work together to a tee, it's very well polished and thought out, I literally have no complaints in any department. Congrats on your game!
Amazing models and art, the name is poppy (did I mention the art), the idea is cool and it’s a bit complex. My main problems are that there is no windows version, website is cool and all but it’s always a hassle to load heavy games like this plus I am never remembering to replay a web game as opposed to having it downloaded. The UI quality of life and player feedback can be improved but oh well who expects that from jam games lol.
Super fun concept! Loved the inventory-based combat and quirky visuals. A tutorial would definitely help smooth the learning curve, but once it clicks, it’s a blast.
This is a surprisingly complex game that looks cute and innocent on the surface, and it took me more than 3-4 rounds before I fully knew what was even happening on screen. But once you understand it makes much more sense, and one can finally have fun with it. This reminds me of Backpack Hero, where items synergised with other items by placement alone, which is a really cool system, but is very hard to balance and test. Well done!
For some criticisms, I think due to the complexity, there should really be a good tutorial on what each mechanic works and how the game plays. Directly throwing the player into the shop screen and a standard battle would make the player super confused about the game and harm the overall experience. I would also suggest adding some animations/particle effects that indicate effects like attack, heal, buffing, etc, that happen in a particular square would be nice too.
Anyway, with how complex the game is, I am surprised that you all even pull this off with the amount of time we all got in the first place. Well done!
A nice inventory battle game the gameplay pushes you to take risks in order to become stronger, which I really liked.
My main criticism would be that the UI design felt a bit lacking, and overall the feedback could be improved. Also, when I dragged an item and dropped it onto another one, it didn’t automatically swap their places, which was a bit frustrating while playing.
Other than that, it has solid and fun gameplay!
Great work. Game looks and feels polished, everything is on point. I liked the inventory arranging mechanic. Well done!
Great game!!! Honestly, I had a lot of fun playing this one. It really reminded me of Backpack Hero, but with a very different approach. With a more engaging progression system and a clearer way to drive the player toward the game’s ending, it would be very appealing. I’d definitely play a full release of this!
This game is very special, I feel.
From the models to the music, the menu style was all fantastic.
I love the game; I use trial and error to understand how to win the game.
Also, as a Resident Evil 4 man, any game with a grid-based inventory system is 10/10 in my book.
All of you did a beautiful work, I hope guys work together in future works :)
A very unique and interesting idea, and well executed too! It's very nice how the different menus pan over to each other, and I can see polish all over the place! There are lots of different interesting items to choose from and it really has a lot of depth! The only thing I can think of to improve this is maybe making it go faster if a battle takes too long, other than that, perfect! There was also a bug that I encountered before the first battle, when I pressed the go button, it dissapeared but nothing happened and I had to reload. In the console it said something about a null value.

Very cool game. Great artstyle and sfx!
