How does the game fit the theme?
Cookies act as your HP and currency at the same time so spend wisely or you will lose the game! Random events will occur every 5 waves for you to risk it to earn more cookies!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Loved the loop of placing towers and upgrading them- tying health to currency was a great choice for risk and rewards!! Only minor complaint is I wish the UI showed that you could upgrade towers cause everything else about the game was super intuitive, didn't need the tutorial at all!
Thanks for trying out the game!
Nice, I love the art style! however i kinda found it unfair how if i had 0 it failed me. Great game though!
Hi, thanks for playing the game! Yea the number of cookies is your HP so when you have 0 cookies left, that means you ran out of your health so you lose the game. The point is to control you expenses while also maintaining your HP so you can survive through waves of enemies.
Oh thank you for the clarification, it makes sense now
I like that you included a leaderboard! Fun touch. The start screen and cookie animation transition were also nice.
The risks were interesting. I had one early that gave me 1,000 cookies which let me buy a lot of towers. Also liked how the towers turned to face the way they were shooting.
Thanks for the warm feedback!
Nice little tower defence. The risk factor was really nicely implemented here by having the player risk harder waves for higher rewards.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for playing the game!
I had a good time! Wave 20 was quite a sudden jump in difficulty hehe. Thematically I feel like it didn't incorporate the cookie thing so much, but as a week long project TD game? Fun!
Thanks for trying out! The theme "Risk it for the biscuit" actually means you need to risk accepting an offer in order to get a reward / benefit so it doesn't really need to be related with biscuit. Having the idea of cookie as your currency and HP is just an extra thing tho!
Fun game. Risking waves are interesting mechanic
Thanks for playing the game!
Fun game but the health bar is a bit too small. The game fits the theme perfectly.
Thanks for playing the game! Will note down the health bar issue.
This game was really fun and i enjoyed playing. The art style is really cool and fits the them and the game itself perfectly. Rated 10/10
Please try my game as well and comment and rate your experience D:

Thanks for rating the game! Sure, no problem.
Thanks :D
I enjoyed playing this game! I did not realise that you could upgrade the towers at first, Still it didn't make much of a different yet the way I did it when being faced by the level 20 single enemy. Also I did not know it was possible to have a leader board on itch browser executable, how have you done that? That's really cool!
Thanks for playing the game! It's already in the credits but to save you some time, here is the link to the leaderboard creator: Leaderboard Creator by Danial Jumagaliyev. Hope this helps!
A very nice little tower defence game that is a little bit addicting. You spice it up with those special events as well which was a great idea however it still gets a little repetetive. The upgrade system is nice as well but I found that just buying new towers is way cheaper so it's only really worth it if you run out of space. One thing you could do is move the enemy spawn so that it's of screen or cover it with something like a cave entrance so that the units don't just pop into existence. The title screen was really good with that little animation as well! Also just so you know if you don't fullscreen the game you can see the gray default background a tiny bit.
Thanks for the feedback! Currently there are 6 different events due to the time limit and running out of ideas. I also had the idea of spawning the enemies from the cave but couldn't find any suitable assets that matches the art style of the game. Prob I could just use Unity terrain to create a cave tho 🤔Anyways, thanks for playing the game and providing such valuable feedback!
Great tower defense with innovative risk mechanics, I'm hooked, loved it! Good luck!
Thanks for the lovely feedback! :D
I had a lot of fun playing this tower defence game, thank you. Great work in the time frame.
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed the game!
Very well done gang! Loved the idea, and as a one person developer, having a fully functioning, 3d modeled, tower defense game is truly insane. I enjoyed it a lot, although I experienced a bug on wave 5 where the enemies just stopped coming out after I pressed the tutorial button. Great work guys!
Thanks for the lovely comment! The 3D models are done by KayKit which I already credited in the game description. I'll take a look at the bug that you mentioned as it should not happen since after you read through all the tutorials, the Start Wave button should still works without having any issue. Thanks for letting me know and glad that you enjoyed :D
To be more clear about the bug report, I pressed the tutorial button during the wave and that was what broke it. Thank you for looking at it!
Thanks for providing such informative detail! That will definitely help me tackle the issue more quickly!
Neat TD game. The quests fit the theme well. Good job!
I also killed myself before wave 1 by spending all the cookies lol and didn't realize how to destroy towers later on.
Unlocking the towers progressively and upgrading towers would be my next focus, as to make it less overwhelming in the beginning and keep interest growing.
Having a progress system is a brilliant idea! Will definitely take note on that! Thanks so much for playing the game!
A nice tower defense game. Had fun playing it!
Thanks for checking out the game!
I had a great time playing your game!
The UI and UX are really well done, with everything being easy to understand and navigate. The tower and character designs are fantastic, and I really enjoy how the towers rotate to face the enemies. The fast forward feature was also a great touch and helped speed up gameplay during tougher waves.
It would be great to have some more visual effects when enemies are hit, such as them flashing red or adding some VFX to make those moments feel more impactful. I also found that you could lose early on by spending all your cookies before the round had started.
An instant retry button would be a nice feature, making it easier to jump back into a new round without going through the start menu. I also accidentally placed a tower while interacting with the UI for accepting a challenge.
Lastly, I felt that the starting money was a bit generous, making it easier to place a lot of towers early on and not worry about enemies for a while. A bit more balance in this area could help make the early waves more engaging.
Overall, the game is a lot of fun, and with a few small adjustments, it could be even better. Great job and keep it up!
Hey, thanks for taking your time and leaving such constructive feedbacks! I really appreciate it! I feel like I do really need to improve myself in terms of UX side. Having a VFX does really make it feels more impactful and I will definitely take note on that to improve in my future game jam! A retry button is such simple but why didn't I thought of that before. Sometimes I really go into the dev mode without thinking from a player perspective. I'll also take note on the UI bugs and the balancing issue!
Once again, thank you so much for taking your time playing and leaving constructive feedback for the game!
You are very welcome! I also easily fall into a “dev-mode” and loose perspective on the player experience. I find playtesting alleviates that a lot but it is difficult to find the time during a jam 😅
Ahh I see. I might need to find someone to playtest my future game I guess 😂Thanks so much for the tips!
Definitely a good start for TD game. I liked the quests
Thanks for playing the game!
Great game. I have a messed up but overpowered formation having to upgrade most of them. Tho I only made it to round 19.
There seem to be a glitch where if I fast forward to its maximum the enemies tend to pass by my towers without a problem. So I had to stick to the normal speed as a strat.
Wonderful job tho.
Thanks for playing the game! Hm... its weird that I never encounter the issue about the fast forward but I'll definitely take note on that. Thanks for letting me know!
I like the idea of your health also being currency. Neat game.
Thanks for playing the game!
Haven't played a lot of tower defense games recently, but nice game!
I sometimes overestimated my defense and accepted risks I shouldn't have haha
Thanks for playing the game! Haha financial management is important!
