How does the game fit the theme?
You're in a cave to find a biscuit that bestows attributes desired by many. You have to take this biscuit and avoid the Biscuit Monster to win the game. (That is to say... you must Risk It For The Biscuit™!)
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

The sounds are really nice, and the general feel of the game, you can get startled ahahha, I like it the art is simple yet it sets the tone for the game! Good job!
Loved it!!! The music, the feel, the atmosphere. The simple no trouble in movement. This is a great example of a jam game.
What I would suggest: a minimap, maybe to be able to outrun the monster, maybe more than one monster, maybe more than one cookie.
I think further development would make a great, entertaining game.
I felt the fear, lol, made me remember the days when I played Doom :)
Rate my submission, thanks :)
I'm glad you liked it. I'll take note of your suggestions and will be reviewing your game as soon as possible. Thanks :D
Not bad. Really good sounds, like camera's shacking. I don't like that enemy can't catch a player, if you always running from him, and player can't see the monster before monster will see him, due to that things there is no need in a strategy, you're just running away in search of a cookie.
I should've made the gameplay different but it's too late for that now. Thank you playing the game and giving your feedback.
Pretty charming little game! The art is consistent and I really liked the movement sprite. It gives the character a lot of personality. I did find the map a bit too large, so most of my run was just wandering until I accidentally stumbled onto the biscuit and won (I think others also faced the same issue). Maybe a slightly smaller level or some subtle cues to guide players would help. The music was lovely, and I could totally imagine layering it having an extra channel kick in when the monster is nearby to add more tension. Nice work!
Thank you for playing.
Pretty simplistic game but pretty consistent art and the movement sprite is actually quite charming. I think the level is quite large so you kinda just get lost in it until you stumble upon the biscuit and win (which actually happens to me). Making the level smaller and maybe a bit more direction to nudge the player towards the biscuit would be neat as well.
Quite nice music though, would be neat if you can split the different music channels up so when you are near the monster the 2nd channel strike up or something, that would be pretty cool
Thank you for the feedback. Might apply it after the voting.
Cool Game and fits the theme perfectly, as well as the music. However i keep getting lost hahaha until one time i encountered the biscuit and won hahah, Good job mate!
Thank you. I made the mistake of making the location too large. Not sure if the game fits the theme but the music is well-crafted.
You can check out the composer if you want.
Thank you for playing once again.
Game definitely fits the theme. It looks nice and the music is a nice touch. For gameplay, I found myself wandering without anything going on until I happened to run into the biscuit and win. I didn't run into the biscuit monster. Game could probably use some more elements to make exploring riskier and more exciting.
Yeah, I could've made it so that the encounter with the monster was more frequent and exploring more riskier and exciting as you mentioned. I would love to change that but it's not particularly a bug to fix which is allowed to do according to the rules.
You can encounter the biscuit monster if you stay in a single place for a while and it will eventually appear and chase you.
The music was made by Bryanwolf if you want to check out his stuff.
Thank you for playing providing a feedback. Cheers
downloadable!!!! why :(
Were you able to play it? I tried uploading it on web but never knew the plugin I was using wouldn't be supported. So I had to make it downloadable.
I found your game because it's among those with the most karma.
It's sad that it has so few reviews, but don't worry I've played and rated it!
I think that the main issue of the game is that you have no clue for the biscuit location so is boring most of the time because you just have to move.
Maybe adding a risk and reward mechanic like a radar that show you the direction to follow in order to find the biscuit, but using it make noise and the monster found your location. This would be cool!
If you try mine, let me know what you think!
Thank you! I realized too late that I made the place too large and the encounter with the monster a bit rare. That's bad game design in my part. But I'm glad you reviewed it.
