How does the game fit the theme?
You have 3 dice to beat the dealer's roll. Unused dice give you money and you can reroll a die to keep the others unused. However, rerolling a die curses its current face, making its value 0 and preventing future rerolls.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Only the skeleton is not made from scratch.

How many people worked on the game?

Fun little game! the dice sounds are very nice.

Didn't really feel like there was any real risk, as I could always just buy my way out. Aside from that, neat lil game.

The loop of upgrading your dice, gaining more money as a result and then using it for upgrades is super addictive. All this misses is a win condition and you have something really solid. Great work!

Not sure how to play...but nice graphics, music, and no bugs.

Good application of the theme, took me a while to understand the mechanic but I got there in the end. I can totally see NL streaming this :D

you have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you!

we’re definitely gonna add a tutorial when we can update the game!

Was a little confused at first but I still kept winning! The visuals and music are quite nice :)

It took me a while to understand what was going on, but it was really fun and innovative. I had a good time playing!

Definitely took me a second to figure out what was happening but this was super enjoyable! Would love to see more difficulty scaling and challenges, especially ones that would cause me to burn my die more. I say all of this because I really liked it and spent more time than expected, so would love to see this with more features!

i was confused the first couple rounds but then i got the hang of it and because there doesn't seem to be an ending (?) i was just playing it for an embarrassing amount of time because it was so fun

It's hard to understand first but it's a nice dice game overhall!

This is an interesting idea. For the first 5 minutes I think I was struggling to understand the mechanics a bit, but eventually it clicked what the risk you're taking is. Better communication of what the next stages are could help with the early decision making, and it would be really useful to be able to zoom out again to take stock of the board when you need to make a decision on what to do with a die. I'm assuming the die graphics in the bottom left are supposed to update based on the current die value on the board, but that's not happening at the moment. Either fixing that or a viewpoint change button would do the trick. In fact, since a new die roll can still move other dice on the board, it would make more sense to update the bottom left graphics. I think the idea to cap payout each round to whichever dice you haven't rolled yet is very smart; makes upgrading your dice even more essential.  Overall I like it a lot, just wants a little extra polish.

Fun dice game mixed with a bit of strategy.

As a fellow dice enjoyer would recommend. I like the curse mechanic.
