This game is so silly lol… And it’s actually not bad. I got some feedback though. The overall gameplay visuals need a little work, and it would be even better if the marshmallow enemies were given some animations. And the player movement felt a bit slow at times. And maybe add an effect when the guns are being fired since it seems that you are doing raycasting shooting. But I like the way this game is going in terms of the story, very entertaining indeed, and I do like the gingerbread/chocolate and the marshmallow models lol. In fact, I’m impressed that you did all the models in less than a week, so well done for that. Just keep going, and then you will definitely get there for sure. 🔥✊🏼

thanks for the feedback! Some of those were totally planned for but we couldnt get those features finished on time. We will improve it in the feature and also do some tweaking with the movement values, add some new weapons too, maybe a grenade or something!

Kinda feels like a youtube poop in videogame form, pretty entertaining :)

Developer

thank you for playing! Thats such a good catch honestly my brother who made the animations really loves that type of humor :)

Pretty fun game! The story was fun, we were expecting what would happen next. The gameplay was a bit repetitive, but it was pretty cool.

Developer

thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!

Impressive amount of stuff you've made from scratch here!

Unfortunately the game did crash a few times for me.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing, please tell me more about the crashes! When did those occur? We want to polish it after the gamejam ends

First one was as soon as the main scene loaded, second one when I killed mr marshmallow man.

No one else seems to have reported crashes so I'm not sure what went wrong - I'm on a fairly decent computer so I don't think it was a hardware thing

Developer(+1)

yeah does not sound like a hardware issue, thanks for giving extra info! we will look into it :)

That escalated quickly lol. That was a fun game. The double revolvers are nice, I like your style!

Developer

thank you so much for playing! I have been improving my modelling more and more :D

I've quite enjoyed this little game for how silly it is. A bit more oomph would definitely help, even like seeing the enemy HP bar moves a bit would allow the player to see their effects on the enemies.
The guitar busking out at the end was quite charming though

thanks for checking out the game! Yeah we didnt get to the healthbars sadly. super proud of how far we got within the time. We are planning on continuing to improve it just to add more polish

Another victory for Barry Biscuit! A shame that the cutscenes don't work in the browser version, thought it just wasn't working in the browser. Fun little experience  -- one feedback item I have is to make the enemy hit sound play on top of itself instead of starting over (it was hard to tell if I was hitting multiple times or not at all).

Developer

thank you so much for the review and feedback! Will definetly look into playing the sound effects in that way we want to keep improving it after the gamejam :D
